Tal nodded with her words, closing his eyes against a gust of wind as the day began to draw to a close. He stood and dusted off his backside, moving to stand before her and offer his hand. “I think that’s a good idea,” he replied, smiling down at her. “I’m really glad I got to meet you, Brooklyn. Despite how we met in the first place, I like that I got to spend this wonderful afternoon with you. I’ll walk you back to the school, if you’d like,” he offered politely, knowing that his mother’s manners were kicking in. Yeah, Momma didn’t raise no fool.

Smiling Brooklyn took his hand and stood, brushing things out of her hair and off her behind. "Yeah... we really 'ad a smash of a meetin' didn't we?" She grinned and brushed hair out of her face. With a sigh she put her shoes back on. It gave her a little more height, but not that much. "Sure!" Looping her arm in his she stayed close, little goose bumps appearing on her shoulders.

He nodded and watched as she put her shoes in. With the heels, she almost reached his chin, and it was too darn cute. He took her arm and started walking with her back to the dorm. He had never seen her in the co-ed dorms, so that meant that she lived in the all-girls’ dorm, where he wasn’t allowed. Well, this would be interesting, he thought wryly as they walked back to the school, content with each other’s presence.
