Ah, hell, Cole He yelled at himself inside his head. The boy had just told him to 'shut it' and Cole wasn't one to take that lightly. His sly grin took on a more evil twist as he returned Jalen's glance. He stood up and lit another cigarette. He sucked in a long first drag as Jalen got her word in on the matter.
"You come out and disrupt a lady's peace? You insult and degrade her in front of open company of one of her friends? Then you get mad when your advances get shot down and you're suggested to leave?" Cole said as he blew out the smoke of his red. He wanted to give the guy a good shot to the jaw, but he knew the boy's power. That and he didn't want to get in trouble again. The last time he'd fought his best friend, though fights always had a way of bringing out Cole's best.
"If that's the best you can do it's no wonder you can't pick any girls up. Lemme gues, you go to the club, I know which one, I've seen you there, and you lay your best line on a girl to start off." Cole asked sarcastically, possibly making it up as he went along... But, hey, that was Cole, "Then when she shoots that down, you find something about her to strike up the conversation and swing at the second pitch. Let's see, uhm, Tattoos? Yeah, don't bother asking women about tattoos in a club. Maybe in a bar, sure, but not a club, man. They wanna dance and have fun not talk about some mark they got four, five year ago."
Cole was just talking away as he lit another cigarette and stopped himself. "Ya'know what?" Cole asked firmly as he took a step forward, "I ain't gonna go through it all. Why? Because I haven't the willpower to make myself indulge you." Cole stepped forward more, channeling his power just as Braxton was doing. The small electric discharges around him gave proof to that. His eyes pooled together a mixture of blue, silver, and white. Standing face-to-face with Braxton wasn't enough, Cole wanted to make his point be heard. He pressed his forehead hard into Braxton's, not caring if it hurt either of them or not. He outstretched his arm and pointed his finger toward the road behind the boy, "Turn around and walk away...., bruh." Cole said mockingly, "Ain't gonna be a fight here today."
