Half of my heart [Gia]

Gia hadn't realized Craven wasn't paying attention to her when she had objected his compliments and attempted to pave over the awkward moment with the pants. After all, she assumed he would listen. She listened when he spoke the vast majority of the time, and she liked to think that what she said was worth listening to. After all, having no meaningful voice was like being a slave or a servant again, and Gia had, in a way, escaped that by coming here. And yet, the humming sound that came from him made her stop walking and turn to look at him, a slight frown on her face. Realizing it was there, Gia tried to wipe it, and give, instead a blank look, forcing a small smile when he laughed.
He didn't 'catch' that? It wasn't like he had dozens of voices in his head to sort through to hear her. She was the only one around. She shrugged and shook her head as his excuse meandered into the back of her head. Corpses. He was thinking about corpses, not only with her around, but while she was speaking. Again she frowned slightly, but said nothing. His lips, after all, had not moved when she'd heard his voice, and while she was glad his deathly thoughts hadn't translated, she had no idea what had possessed him to think about that.
Gia lifted her eyes to search for any possibly crows around that may have caused the thoughts, but, seeing none (not that she would have noticed if they were in a tree, or simply within connection range for Craven), she glanced back at him, just in time to hear his request for wine. He knew she'd go wherever he wanted her to go, and honestly, it was afternoon, but all the same, it was something to do with Craven that would, perhaps, be less awkward than this had been, and would certainly be out of site of everyone at the school. So she smiled and nodded and started walking slowly again, her own mind wandering ever so slightly.
Until he went somewhere she hadn't even thought about him going. He didn't want to hurt her, but honestly, Gia didn't see how he could. Sure, him running off, telling her he couldn't love her had hurt, but they were together now, and that was in the past. Concern and sympathy filled her heart and face as she watched him, waiting for some sort of explanation for his words. And when they finally did, Gia really couldn't help herself. Craven was asking her about sex. About what it was like for a girl to have sex. And he didn't want her to blush. What else was she supposed to do in a situation like this? It only made the awkward more awkward, and Gia was shocked that it lead to where it did. Their sex life.
Flabbergasted, Gia's mouth flopped a bit like a fish for a while, opening and closing several times before she composed herself, and attempted to make her face stop burning. "Well, I mean, I don't know, Craven. I haven't... I don't... I..." This was not helping the blushing problem at all. Especially not trying to say it outloud. "I haven't exactly tried it, you know. So I don't actually know what it feels like. I guess people say there's bleeding, but for all I know it's just rumors. But, I mean, even if it does... you know... happen... pain fades, right? And eventually it wouldn't hurt, even if it did at first." She had no idea whether she was thinking straight or not, but she didn't want to say any of it out loud. And she refused to address the insensitivity quip about the sex life talk all together, hopping maybe that discussion would go away.
