A, B, or C?

Adrian hadn't realized what she said until he smirked. At that she had to laugh. It was a pretty funny innuendo, and usually she caught on fast. She hadn't with that one though. And her growing up around older guys also prepared her for the way their minds worked. She was the same way.

She nodded at his explanation. It made sense when he put it that way. She'd never really had that comfort before. Not in a boyfriend at least. She had it with her two best guy friends, but her relationship history wasn't so good. Part of her really wanted someone like that. A guy who she could already be close to and only get closer as the relationship went further. The only way she'd get that though, was if she dated Robbie, who wasn't the boyfriend type, or Craven and he had that already with Gia. So she was out of luck for the time being.

Adrianna nodded, "It is personal and they don't include everything in the personality types. I dunno, it's just what the magazine asked." She still waited for his answer and was surprised when he said C. "Whoa, I picked that one too." She laughed lightly.

They were on the last question. The big one. "Final question, what are you're thoughts on marriage? A) Never, I'll have boyfriends forever. B) It's not something I would do. C) Maybe... and finally D) Yes I will marry the one I love." She read the last words and looked up. She'd chosen C due to the fact that she wasn't convinced about the whole marriage concept. After all, both times her mother had either come close to marriage or actually gotten married, it had been a disaster. The guy would have to be perfect on all accounts.

Levi's smirk grew even wider when Adrianna laughed. It wasn't that he thought girls couldn't find that kind of humor funny, but his experience certainly didn't support it. Now that he knew his roommate had a similar sense of humor though, he felt a little guilty. The freshman had been so incredibly pissed when he'd found out that he was being forced to change dorms, away from Evan. And though he still didn't know about Aki, Levi was starting to like Adrian.

"Yeah, I hate stuff like that. It's always written by people who assume that there isn't anyone who doesn't fit their idea of 'normal.' I bet there's probably nothing in there about metas and what it's like to be a meta teenager." He didn't read girly teen magazines, but he figured it was a safe bet. (And though he'd realized that a lot of what Mr. Underwood had taught him was exaggerated, a lot of it was still right.) "But that's because they lock us all up here until we're eighteen..." Levi trailed off when he realized he'd gone off on a tangent again. "Oh, uh, sorry about that. Uh, next question?"

But the next question was hard. Levi did not know a single married couple, other than Evan's parents. He didn't have aunts or uncles, his mother had died when he was young, and visiting Evan's family that summer had been his only time leaving the Hammel sphere of influence since he'd arrived. "Uh.... C, I guess? I really haven't thought about that much." Or ever, other than Evan casually confirming that he was going to be his date for Moe and Vincent's wedding. "But I guess it depends on who I'm with, and where I am? Like if I'm still with Evan, but we moved somewhere it wasn't legal, we can't."

Adrianna was happy she'd gotten out of her room today. She'd been able to socialize with one of her roommates and found that he was actually really nice. They'd definitely bonded over the silly quiz and it was nice being able to do something like this with someone new. Robbie and Craven both thought the magazines were lame and totally unrealistic, but she found comfort in them for advice, in case she ever needed it. Not that she ever did because she had two guys who helped her see into the mind of other guys. Either way, it was nice hanging out with Levi.

She nodded in agreement to his comment. It was true. None of the magazines said anything about metas and it made her sort of angry. They never had helpful advice of how to deal with your powers or anything worth reading for metas. She smiled when he apologized and shrugged, "It's all good, I totally get where you're coming from."

"I picked C too. It definitely depends on the guy for me. My mom's been married once and my biological father left right after I was born. I'm not really sold on the concept of marriage because of it. I've never really seen a long-lasting relationship." She shrugged nonchalantly and followed her finger down to the results.

She smiled brightly and looked up, "Okay, you're results are..." She looked down and began reading. "Protective. Your perfect guy is someone strong and protective. Hes there for you when you need him most and also a great guy to be with. You love him because he makes you feel confident and beautiful. Who knows, maybe you'll get married to him." Adrian leaned back and shut the magazine, "Do you like your results?"

"My parents..." Levi hesitated for a second when Adrianna brought up her parents. His own family life was a little unusual; he'd practically been raised by his grandparents until Ye Ye had died, and then it had been Nai Nai taking care of him and Nomi because his dad worked all the time. "I don't really know anyone who's married except Evan's parents. My mom died when I was really little, and my dad works too much to find someone new." And that's all he was going to say about his father, considering how he was still mad at him. (Also, he'd done little more than hint to Evan about his issues with his dad. He wasn't about to go talking about it with someone he'd just met.)

But the results Adrianna read off made him grin. "Maybe there's a bit more to that magazine than I thought, because that's kind of perfect." It predicted he'd want someone who'd be there when he needed him....and Levi was dating Spider-Man. There was no one more suited for someone who wanted someone protective than a superhero. (A real superhero. Not that ridiculous thing he'd seen the fliers for down in the student lounge, run by the girl who'd thrown eggs at Evan.) "Yeah. That really fits Evan." He uncurled himself and got up to stretch, as he'd been sitting and reading for over an hour before that.

Levi pulled his phone out of his pocket and checked the time quickly. Yeah, it made sense he was hungry now; it was right in the middle of the dinner break. "Hey, Adrianna, have you gone down to the cafeteria yet? Want to grab some dinner?"
