Gia didn't want to force Craven into a relationship he had no interest in. It wasn't fair to him, and it wouldn't be fair for her either. One sided relationships were annoying and heartbreaking, so she longed for him to look at her with some emotion in his eyes. She wanted to know that he wanted her to get back with him and it wasn't just words to make up for everything. She searched his eyes as she spoke sinking slightly at the vacant expression, but the reaction to the kiss on his neck did give her hope. Her free arm wrapped around his neck as he tilted his head, and she finally let a smile hit her face as she kissed him.
She still wasn't sure how they had gone from her mixed singles to her not reacting to anything to him cheating. It wasn't a terribly normal conversation to have, but she was glad the fight was over, and more than anything she just wanted to cuddle with him now. Screw biology and grades, and screw the teacher's pop quiz. This was far more important right now. Sure, Gia would probably regret those thoughts later, but slowly she let her connection to him grow back. Not to say anything, or to read anything, simply to have the familiar feeling and presence there in her mind.
She squeaked as she was pulled toward him, a bit surprised at the action, but her not unoccupied hand that had been holding his joined its partner around his neck as she nuzzled against him. Why did teen relationships have to be so emotionally stressful? And why couldn't he just accept that she was perfectly ready to sleep with him before, but was nervous. Because of the thoughts he had put into her head. Now she had no idea how to get ready for it again. She had no idea how she'd measure up to the not-girl who had recently taken her boyfriend's virginity when she herself was so inexperienced.
Her thoughts were so wrapped around her new found performance anxiety about pleasing Craven that she was not at all aware that she'd been nosed away from his neck, and she didn't see the kiss coming at all. The surprise was fairly evident in the amount of time it too her to close her eyes, which had widened, and relax against him. Her's. Her way, her terms. She didn't have terms other than that he not cheat again. The relationship was about them being together, and hopefully Craven had realized that his actions did affect her, and that she had enough grit to be pissed at him. Eventually, she cleared her mind and kissed him back, pulling her legs up next to her on the bed, connected to him mind and mouth.
