Out for a Stroll (Open.)

Jackson laughed a bit, glad she was disappointed. It meant she was already starting to like him. “It’s nothing personal Kiara, I just don’t think you’d want to see me fully reptilian.” He shrugged. Again, he wasn’t going to be put under a microscope, especially hers.

He just smiled at her. Good, the last thing he wanted to do was scare her. He had done that enough times to know it wasn’t a feeling he enjoyed. Maybe if he was someone that liked parading around in snake-skin, he’d enjoy his powers more. But this wasn’t so.

Glad to have her real number, Jackson put his phone away and sat forward. “That’s not what people are looking at though,” he countered, putting his shirt back on.

“Can’t a guy have his surprises?” He asked, an eyebrow raised. He would think of something fun. He also decided not to add a comment on how he knew how she could keep him entertained. “Did you walk here?” He asked. He yawned. It was time for him to go home and hibernate.

Perhaps not… but she did want to catch up earlier. A couple of weeks sounded so long, especially since it would give her too much time to ponder about what had gone down at college a couple of days ago. Anyway, it be that way. Nothing Kiara could change about it. Or not at this point at least. As he retorted a pessimistic comment, the blonde smirked and pushed herself to stand up straight. With the daisy necklace in both hands, she reached forward before he got a chance to react and placed a careful knot in it in his neck. Then she took a step back again.

”Maybe I’m an alien then.” For appearance did not matter as much as someone’s personality did. Then again, it was slightly disappointing to have him put his shirt on again. Kiara took the hint though and moved to slip feet into her flats again, nodding a bit. ”I’m staying at Dr. Neville’s place for a couple of days. It’s not that far of a walk.”

Pausing for a few counts, blue eyes drifted to his again. ”I’ll see you… in a few weeks?” Sadly enough.

"Dr. Neville's place," he said with a nod, trailing after her. If it wasn't obvious, he was walking her home, wherever that may be. So she had gone to Hammel as well. He took another look at her. They seemed about the same age, why hadn't they met before? He kept his hands in his pockets and was very thankful for the loafers that covered his toes and feet. The scales were up to his wrists already and getting increasingly hard to hide. Maybe one day he would explain to her that he just became sleepy, but it only happened three or four times a year. They'd have plenty of time to spend together.

Upon arriving at the doctor's house, Jackson gave Kiara a nod and a smile. "I'll give you a call," he said.

Once he got back to his dorm room, he snuggled into bed, making sure there was a lot of water nearby. He would need it once he woke up from this slumber. Oh well, at least he'd be refreshed and restored. He couldn't wait to give her a call.
