Kennedy started seeing spots before her eyes and exhaled harshly, only just realizing she'd held her breath. The sight of drying blood on the ice made her very nervous and her unfortunate dog half made her able to scent it very strongly.
After a few very long moments, the shifter struggled to kick her brain back in gear and functioning again. She swore she'd kept telling him over and over she didn't remember but maybe he thought she was lying? And why would she even lie about something like that? What kind of person made terrifying threats to strangers?
She blinked and mumbled an apology for staring at him, showing her discomfort in her tense posture and too nervous to look him in the eye.
'What do I say to him? He's an angry and possibly dangerous person, there's -blood- on the ground with no explanation and for all I know he could be a murderous killer! I've already assured him twice that I don't remember. He knows all about me because I couldn't hide it, but he -threatens- me for politely asking his reason for being at Hammel?'
Her blue eyes remained uneasily on the blood spattered snow with -her paw prints- over it. Obviously he knew about her and didn't want to talk about it and she couldn't just take off because her quick shift left her exhausted; where did that leave her? Kennedy snuffled quietly, sounding just too much like a frustrated dog, though she had no idea.
He didn't want to talk to her, told her to not even -look- at him, so now what?! She bit her lower lip, trying not to think too much about the blood or how cold she was getting. She just needed a little longer to regain at least some basic strength. It was yet another incredibly awkward moment in her life that would surely see the pages of her diary.
