Willow would want to know all about Nate’s messy mind.
Her lips quirked up into a smile. “Darwinism?” She asked, looking down and shaking her head slightly in embarrassment. “Sorry, that’s just a nickname my sister calls me,” she said, looking back to him, “Darwin.” It was a strange nickname, and it wasn’t something she had ever told anyone before. “We should plan a training session some time,” she offered, successfully hiding the excitement, followed by guilt, she felt at the thought of spending more time with Nate.
“No, I...” She was going to say she didn’t mind, but the words escaped her as her vision began to fail. Black and white dots enclosed on her vision and she reached out for balance, her hand on Nate’s arm. “Nate?” She asked into the darkness, before she lost control of her body and gravity took over.
