"I think about half my life." Dylan announced, already thinking of doing exactly what Idalia wanted. He knew in his mind, this was moving way too fast and he was digging himself into territories he wasn't sure he could get himself out of. But for some reason, he didn't want to stop himself. "If by rock and roll you mean Elvis Presley and Bill Haley, I got my influence from them for sure. I don't know how to explain my own style of music but I sample from different kinds of genres and just mesh them all into one." He explained.
Idalia's flirtatious manner made Dylan blush, even though he wasn't entirely sure what exactly was going on. But he was getting a little excited over the prospect of how the meteorologist suddenly had a husky tone to her voice and everything seemed to be...fluid and sultry. Easily said, he was getting a little turned on.
"I...am a very poor dancer." He responded. His athletic build made for some pretty awkward moves on the dance floor and the only dance moves he knew were the ones he'd seen in movies, which isn't that much to begin with. But if she wanted to go dancing, he was going to oblige because refusing would be very rude. "But I see it as an opportunity to learn. I'm sure you're a great teacher." Dylan proposed.
Tilting his head slightly, Dylan grinned at her and shrugged. "I'm more comfortable at night than I am in the day. Force of nature." He wiggled his fingers as an indication of his abilities.
When she left, Dylan blew out a huge sigh of relief as he finished his soda in one quick gulp. He was still a little nervous around Idalia but it wasn't so bad. He knew she liked him. Or rather, he was quite sure. She hadn't run off in the opposite direction so he had to assume the positive.
Her question coming back made him shake his head. "I'm good with just the one. But you're welcome to have another. I don't mind at all."
