Travis Morgan
16-bi-empath
Who now?
Travis is a shy boy. Always fighting with himself internally, and thinking way too much about everything. He is genuinely kind, and emotionally attaches himself to people and things much too easily. Travis just wants to make everybody happy, but sometimes he tries to do that by making himself a doormat. As an empath, he sometimes comes of as emotionally unstable, and is prone to experiencing existential crises much too often.
Friends
This is pretty easy with Travis, once you get past the social awkwardness. Making it to friend status might take a little legwork on your end, as he tends to second guess himself to the point of not approaching someone he's already spoken to under the assumption that nobody is really interested in talking to him.

Enemies
Travis would be absolutely devastated to discover he had an enemy. He's content with the idea that most people are indifferent to his existence, but active dislike for him might be too much for him to handle. A good portion of his personal identity is tied up in being a "people pleaser".
*
*
*
Frenemy
You know. When you just cant stand the sight of someone, but you're perfectly lovely to them anyway. Travis does this, mostly without his knowledge. He denies that he would ever be disingenuous, but all of his social programing says "be nice". He could hate your guts for a year and not notice, because being polite and friendly takes over his brain when he's uncomfortable.

*
*
Acquaintances
Travis has a tendency to not follow up on things, mostly out of the afore mentioned fear of second interactions. But it doesn't take long to get bumped up to friend once you get over that hump.

Love
Dating is awkward. Travis never understood this phenomenon. He prefers to be friends first, and figure out how he feels as things move along. Once in a relationship, he can be a little intense. Clingy might be a good word to use. Travis is prone to codependency, as he feels generally insecure in his ability to do things on his own.

Dante Russo
16-gay-precognition
Who now?
Dante is a cynic. He feels superior and self-righteous in his morality, while simultaneously maintaining the belief that he is a terrible person. He believes everyone is stupid and petty, including himself. Anyone who comes into contact with him is at risk of a verbal altercation (or a physical one if he's in an exceptionally sour mood). He is pompous and arrogant about his own abilities, and sometimes slips into manic phases where he momentarily believes he can get away with anything. This has caused him some problems.
Friends
Becoming Dante's friend is a little tricky. He doesn't let his guard down easily, and he takes friendship very seriously. Simply getting along with you doesn't make you his friend. Being friends, however, doesn't mean won't still insult you on a regular basis. It does mean that you get to know things about his past that he doesn't like to talk about, and it means he will be loyal to you. If you manage to become his friend, Dante will do stupid things in order to help you, and share what little he has if you need it. Dante currently maintains a long distance friendship with a boy named Jo Jo, who he left in Brooklyn. This is his only friendship, and he's beginning to get cranky about it.
*
*
*
Enemies
There are probably a lot of people who hate Dante's guts. He excels at insulting people. Loudly. He's especially mean to anyone of the female persuasion, and is prone to injecting comments about their weight or sexual prowess into arguments that frankly have nothing to do with either. Having been at Hammel for two years now, he's bound to have wracked up a good number of enemies. He's not shy about telling people what he thinks of them, and it's usually nothing good.

Frenemy
This word means something slightly different in relation to Dante. He doesn't ever disguise his dislike for a person. If he doesn't like you, you'll know it. "Frenemy" when it comes to Dante, means that he actually likes you, but prefers not to let you or anyone else know. Either he's embarrassed to find you tolerable, or he enjoys fighting with you so much that he doesn't want to stop. It is more likely that you will become friends with Dante if you start from a frenemy position.
*
*
*
Acquaintance
Dante maintains acquaintances much longer than most people. If you are intelligent and can hold a decent conversation, you will likely have long, somewhat pleasant, interactions with him. But this does not make you his friend.
*Wren O'Hara
*
*
Love
Being a fiercely loyal person, Dante doesn't take relationships lightly. He has never been in love, and has never been in a relationship. Dante doesn't date, and won't enter a romantic relationship if he's not already in love. Beware the boy who breaks his heart.
*
Mentors/teachers/academic aid
Dante loves knowledge. He likes knowing things, and anyone who helps him in this endeavor is on his good list. That is, of course, unless said person is female. Dante has a thing about women who are in any way superior to him (in that he hates them). An intelligent female is still subject to his absolute disdain. To anyone else (meaning anyone male), teaching Dante something he's interested in is a good way to worm your way closer to friendship. Dante is dyslexic, and has trouble reading and writing. Currently, he is in the habit of sending articles to his friend back home and making him read them over the phone (Dante also calls him to ask for the correct spelling of words, as he usually butchers the spelling so horribly that the computer's spellcheck can't figure it out). Both Dante and Jo Jo would appreciate someone else taking over this job.
*
*
*
Acquisition
Dante likes to have things he's not allowed to have. Namely cigarettes. He's prone to trading his math skills for money when he needs to (meaning he'll do your homework, for a price). If you're over 18 he'll do it just for a pack of cigarettes.
