The Basics
Name: Zachary Crystobal Bishop
Nicknames: Zach(hates it, but most common), Crys(pronounced Chris, lingering from high school), Emo kid(hates even more), Spiderman(hates the most).
Age: 23
Orientation: Demi-sexual
Desired Rank/Job: University Student
Powers: Spider Climb and Spider Sense
Spider Climb: Zach can maintain a traction/grip upon any flat surface at will, making it possible to climb on the walls and ceiling. It works through his clothes, no idea why, but he still has a better grip directly through his skin, so he tends to not wear shoes when he climbs.
- Limitations: Gravity still affects him. He is literally pulling himself against gravity, so he will get tired of climbing after a while. He also cannot walk up walls, because gravity, though he can probably stand upside down on the ceiling, but then get’s headaches from the blood rushing to his head, because gravity.
- Side-effects: If he’s not paying attention, he can accidentally stick to things he doesn’t want to, ie. paper, keyboard buttons, etc.
Spider Sense: Zach can sense the location of any spider within a 10 foot radius and positively identify which species they are.
- Limitations: The farther they are, the less he senses them and the harder it is to identify the species.
- Side-effects: It is always on, it never turns off. Zach has learned how to deal with this by focusing only on learning to identify the more dangerous ones, like black widows or brown recluses, and ignoring the rest.

General Appearance:
Standing at 5'9, Zach is a man of some 150lbs who looks a bit gloomy and a bit moody. He prefers to dye his hair black, though it is naturally dark brown and doesn't adhere to any particular style. Zach is also not terribly athletic and it shows, he is skinny and slightly pale and looks like he spends most of his time indoors in a dark room with only the light from his computer screen and that he should never have a serious conversation with the sun ever.
He tends to wear dark clothingl, sporting a black or blue hoodie that is probably about 5 years old and jeans even older. His clothes look obviously worn and like he hadn't gone clothes shopping for...about 5 years. Shoes too, they're falling apart for the most part, though he does get new ones when his parents force him.
Personality:
Zack is a pretty quiet guy, keeps to himself most of the time so it easy to think he's antisocial or that he just hates people. It's not that he's antisocial, it's just that he prefers to be by himself, and it's not that he hates people, just that they get annoying especially when they try to talk to him when he'd rather be by himself. Zach has enough worlds and galaxies and universes circulating around in his head to keep himself entertained until doomsday. He likes to zone out when he's deep in thought, but that usually get's strange looks from people, so he started listening to music to get people to leave him alone. Not that it helped, because when he zones out pondering ideas or playing out scenarios in his head, he tends to get caught up in the emotions of the scene and might make faces as it progresses into happy and sad.
When you get him talking about something he has a personal interest in, like one of his stories, he can actually be quite talkative, though he knows it can be annoying so he doesn't share what he's working on very often. It's hard to find someone who would be willing to just listen to him explain such things, because it can last hours, and he can lose track of time when he gets involved like that. Actually, he tends to lose track of time either way when he gets involved in something he's passionate about. But the whole time he's talking, he'll be smiling like an excited little boy.
When he's not lost in his own mind, Zach can be quite observant. It's become a habit largely because of his writing, but Zachary likes to people watch and observe how people act on a normal day to day basic, taking notes on the smallest details you wouldn't think of, such as whether or not they chew gum when they do their homework, what kind of nervous habits they have, how they walk, how they speak - there's a million things that he has documented in his notebooks that he uses for reference. Because of this, despite him acting a bit antisocial and finding them annoying to no end, Zachary actually knows a lot more about his family members than they think and will sometimes secretly leave small gifts in their rooms of something he knows they'll like or something he knows they'll need. He's an awkwardly loving big brother.
Of course, just because he's a bit laid back and aloof(and gloomy) doesn't mean he doesn't have a temper, though it honestly depends on the offense. When he's upset, he tends to yell, gets red in the face, and will retaliate in some way. Immediate retaliation might be a punch(which does nothing because skinny arms), but he can hold a grudge for a long time and might do small, vindictive things, and speak in a harsh tone(or not at all, lol, silent treatment) especially to his siblings.

- Zach hasn't told anyone about his first(and only) sexual experience - it was with his best friend(male) and when they were in high school. One of them suggested they try it, the other said Ok. They decided not to pursue anything because his friend wasn't sure if he was gay. They were both pretty chill about it.
- He bases a lot of the characters in his stories on his family members.

History
Zachary Bishop was born January 1st, 1990 to Monica and Nathaniel Bishop. He was the second child of the newly budding family, a family which continued to grow over the years, first starting with Aurora in 1991, and then practically a new sibling every year following. Zachary was fine with all the new kids in the house. He and Dev got to play big brother and that was fun, the two of them did their best to entertain the young ones. Unfortunately for Zach, the turning point was when Claudia adopted into the family when he was five years old. He already had 5 siblings and that was hard enough without Claudia who had everyone's(and by everyone, he means mom and dad) attention because of her sad story. Zach was 5 years old. He didn't understand what was going on. That's around the same time that Zach started becoming more withdrawn and keeping to himself. He was still active in playing and associating with his siblings(and Claudia), but there was an obvious difference in his behavior.
Over time, Zach became used to the large family and the divided attentions it procured from his parents and Devlin and Aurora, but he always had a slight sour spot for the adopted one, despite being told what the deal was behind her adoption. He retreated into books and the fantasy world, where he found he had a love of using his imagination while reading them. They were such great stories, he wanted to be just like his favorite authors. It was by the time Zach was 8 that he started carrying around his notebooks. That was also the same year that Savvy was born, the last child of the Bishop clan.
Seeing how incredibly overworked his parents were and Devlin and Aurora were in taking care of the other children, Zach took it upon himself to take care of himself as much as possible, to lessen the load at least a little. He helped them out when asked, but for the most part, he stayed out of it, spending much of his time locked up in his room reading books.
When he was 11, Devlin manifested his power. Since both their parents were also meta-humans, Zach wasn't surprised that at least one of their children would also be, though Zach didn't really know too much about meta-ness. But Devlin leaving meant that Zach had to start helping out more. When Aurora manifested(Zach was 12), it got even worse on him. There was no way he could replace Dev and Aura(because they had both gone to Hammel), so he didn't really try. Zach had started his downfall into his signature "mood and gloom" status that all his siblings knew him for around this time.
Zach's manifestation occurred, much to his dismay, towards the end of his freshman year in high school(15 years old) while he was studying for mid-terms. Out of nowhere, he could sense them everywhere. They were coming for him. He was surrounded and couldn't get away. He took refuge in the only spot that he couldn't feel them by jumping on the door of his closet, where, after a while, he realized he didn't have to hold onto. And that's where his parents(and siblings) found him after they came to investigate all the bloody-murder screaming. It was after that, that the family finally decided to move to Pilot Ridge. Having already started high school, Zach did not want to leave the place where he'd only just established a niche and made big fuss about having to leave. Well, he had no choice in the matter.
Once Zach started at Hammel, he started getting into his emo phase, dressing in black clothing, he grew his hair long, he pouted alone in his room or stayed out with his other emo friends, mostly with Ollie though. Of course he was angry at the world, but a lot of it was just for show or just to get a point across to his family that he just wanted to be left alone. Not that they did. Zach didn't like his power nor did he like the teasing that came with it. Or the fact that his family would take advantage of it, like making him retrieve balls from the roof, or fixing the treehouse, which he fell out of when he was 16 and broke his leg. He used that as an excuse to not go on the family vacation that year and spent his time in the hospital instead, which gave him a much needed break to get away and put things in perspective. Of course, he didn't realize until they came back how much he felt left out because he couldn't go. As annoying as they were, Zach hated being left out even more, and that's around when he started calming down his moodiness. He kept up the dark look, though not nearly as extreme as before, because he thought it suited him, but he was a lot calmer and became more tolerant of of his family.
Of course, they still called him the emo kid and spiderman, which he still hates.
When Zach was 17, he started entering scholarship competitions for creative writing. By the time he graduated, he had saved up enough money to cover all four years of his college tuition. For his first two years of college, he lived at home, in the insanity. When he reached his junior year, he realized that the classes were going to get a lot tougher, so he decided to move out. Zach powered through his courses and is now scheduled to graduate this winter pending he passes his classes.
