"I actually love goin' t'the dentist," Kodi grinned manically. It was true - because of his ability, he made sure he kept his teeth as absolutely clean and healthy as he could, and that meant respecting those that cleaned them. "Ain't bit off any'a their fingers yet, at least." He licked at his teeth, which seemed to be stuck in a semi-sharp state for the time being. "Ah yeah, I could totally do that," he slurred,"If Twilight didn't suck ass." He was a book nerd, of course he'd read the series; and he had hated every minute of them, didn't bother to see the movies. "I think I'd just kill 'em all an' end their miserable lives." Twlight fans made him sick; what happened to classics, like the first Dracula, with real vampires? It was one of many things that irked him around his peers.

"I can give ya fangs," he slurred. "Wouldja like that? Definitely keeps all the dumbasses away." If she accepted, he'd do it right now without further question; at least, if he could manage in his very drunken state. He tried to hold onto the bottle like a clingy child, but he was too unbalanced, and Nora managed to rip it out of his hands. "Heyy," he whined just before he tumbled. He hardly had a moment of balance, though, before she shoved him off, and Kodi fell back; thankfully, the wall behind him caught him before he could fall completely, but he ended up sliding down to sit on the floor anyway. "Okay, okay," he groaned, head lolling to the side. "Y... You can have it." Ooh, he didn't feel good...

"I'm afraid for those dentists then. They probably think you're half-wolf," Nora commented, smirking as he got upset about her pointing out the Twilight novels thing. "And that's one way to make them stop fangirling over sparkling vampires, I guess." She shrugged her shoulders. "I didn't know you were so passionate about your hatred for those books. Hell, I wouldn't even have pegged you for reading." Of course he could have just seen the movies, so she was kind of taking a shot in the dark anyway.

"It would be kind of interesting to see me with fangs, huh?" She grinned. "If I was one of those chicks who took selfies all the time, I'd totally instagram that shit." After she'd taken the bottle from him once more, she took a long gulp of it and then winced once more. Damn, it burned.

And now he was on the floor. "You realize that you look like an idiot right now, right? Will my fangs keep you away too?"

Kodi snorted, amused. "Wouldn't be the first one's that thought that," he chuckled. Benton had thought he was a werewolf at first, and Kodi had let him believe it. It was hilarious. "Yeah, it would be," he snarked, interested to see Nora wasn't at all impressed with his violent-speaking nature. When she outed him about the books, though, his features tightened, and he snarled. "I ain't a fuckin' nerd," he hissed. "Just... All the hype an' shit, you know? Hard t' not know about it." He didn't know she was a lie detector - she'd see right through that bullshit. He was a book nerd at heart and he knew it. But no one else could know.

He eyed her for a minute - yeah, if he was into chicks, Kodi thought she'd probably look hot with fangs, he supposed. "You wanna try 'em out?" he slurred. "I can do it here, I ain't too drunk." He waved a hand at her face. "Ew, fuck, selfies. Those chicks are just fishin' for fuckin' compliments, I don't get that shit." He was confident enough in his own appearance, he didn't need other people's compliments, jeeze.

"Fuck off...." he groaned, pressing a hand against his temple. Wow, he was dizzy. "Shit... I'm gonna go... Pass out somewhere..." Preferably not out here, but maybe a bedroom or closet, somewhere quiet. "You, fang chick, help me up," he demanded, trying to stand with the assistance of the wall and a hand held out towards Nora.

"You must be a nerd, because you're getting very defensive." That and Nora knew it was a lie, but it was easier to just play it off as if you could tell in another way because then people walked on glass around her trying not to lie, as if it was the hardest thing in the world to avoid making up things instead of telling the truth. People sucked. "Don't worry, I won't tell." She mimed zipping her lips closed and tossing away the key.

"You sure you're not too drunk to give me some fangs? Or is your power going to malfunction and I'm going to end up as a walrus?" She grinned at him. But really, she didn't get that shit either. All the ways people tried to impress others. It was pahthetic really.

And now he was on the floor and Nora was rolling her eyes as he asked for her to help him up. She tried pulling him up, but it was hard when her body weight was in no way equal to his. "Ah, come on. You're gonna go pass out already? Well, this has been lame."

"Am not!" Kodi replied in almost a whine. Sober, he never would have been so obvious and defensive; he must have been really drunk. He really needed a glass of water and somewhere quiet, but there was no way in hell he'd get there himself. "Oh, shut up," he mumbled. "Ain't nothin' t'tell anyone." Recently too many people had been finding out about his reading habits - he didn't need another. His reputation at school would be destroyed.

"Trust me, I ain't too drunk t'do that," he slurred. "I can't even do walrus teeth yet. Longest I could get is probably halfway down yer chin." Eventually, he hoped to be able to do more. But his ability was actually kind of limited size-wise; shapes, he could do almost endlessly, just depended how much pain you could tolerate. "Meh... Here. Don't cry if it hurts." He waved his hand in her direction, concentrating on just elongating her upper canines. He saw the white tips just peek out from upper lip, and he gave a smug grin, even though his own mouth ached now; hers likely felt like a bad toothache. "There, told you," he mumbled triumphantly.

Kodi tried to heft himself up as she helped, but ended up slumping to the floor again. "I been takin' shots like there's no tomorrow, I ain't a fuckin' lighweight," he snarled. Using the wall, he managed to get himself halfway up again, but he was leaning heavily against the flat surface. "An' if you're so bored, why doncha go an give yer new chompers a try?" He waved her off, as though expecting her to go all vampire on somebody. "They'll only last prob'ly ten minutes tops."

Nora really didn't care that much, whether he liked to read or stick forks in his eyes. It wasn't a big deal to her, it was just annoying that he lied, just like every other person she met. She liked to see how long into a conversation they told a lie. Kodi hadn't lasted much longer than others, but she wasn't really going to hold it against him when everyone did it. "Whatever, I don't care."

She waited for it to happen, for her to grow fangs and when he did it, her hand went up to her jaw at the soreness that erupted there. "Fuck," she muttered and slowly opened her mouth. She ran her fingers lightly over her teeth, surprised at what she found, although she knew she shouldn't be. "As far as I'm concerned, ten minutes will be enough, but I'm not really one to go socialize, even if I have fangs. Maybe I'll just bite you for being annoying."

Kodi looked up with vague curiosity to see Nora's reaction to his warping her teeth. He was mildly pleased and impressed that she didn't react to the pain any more than she did - he was used to it, at least, so she must've been somewhat pain tolerant. "Shit's pretty crazy, ain't it?" he slurred. "I freaked the fuck out when I manifested. Scariest shit'n my life." Kodi didn't know why he was telling her this. He rambled when he was wasted. He chuckled at her ferocity, waving a hand in the girl's direction. "Go ahead, sweetheart. I been bitten a time'r two before, ain't nothin' t'worry 'bout." Hell, if she wasn't a chick, he would've been totally turned on by it.

"Now... If you'll 'scuse me... I'm gonna go..." Kodi managed to get a little more balanced on his feet, though he was still leaning heavily against the wall as he began to slump off. Where he'd end up, he wasn't sure, but he knew he wasn't going to make it back to Hammel before morning. "Put those things t'good use!" he called over his shoulder.

"Guess I'd be kind of freaked out if I suddenly grew fangs, but then again, that starts to sound like some bad supernatural romance novel so let's not go there." Her power wasn't as scary during manifestation. It was more like she just began to see through the bullshit more than she could already. It'd given her a particularly negative outlook and made her realize that people were assholes for no good reason.

The next thing he said made Nora really want to bite him. She absolutely hated when people used endearing names when they clearly meant to call you something else. Bitchy undertones. Really? You might as well just say what you want to. After that he was keen on getting out of there and started to stumble off and she made a last minute decision to bound forward and clamp her newly grown fangs down on his forearm.

Kodi didn't expect the girl to come after him, after their less-than-jovial conversation. It hadn't been awful, per say, but it wasn't like either of them had made a new friend. So when she had the nerve to come up and actually bite him, Kodi jumped and yelped, more out of surprise than anything else.

"What the fu- Bitch!" he hissed, uncaring of the tearing feeling as he tugged his arm out from those spiky protrusions. He studied the wound, watching blood pool up out of the two punctures with drunken fascination. "Well, lookit that - guess I actually used my ability on someone tha' can put'it t'good use," he snickered after a moment, wiping at the crimson liquid and smearing it over his arm. "How's it feel, then? Pretty fun, right?" He made no move to make the fangs go away - he was actually rather excited with this development.

The best part of this all was that Kodi was not expecting it, which is probably why Nora did it. He jumped, letting out something that sounded like a shriek and she could only grin, flashing her fangs again at him. She looked at his arm and the blood that had came from the wound. "Well, what else am I supposed to do with fangs? Besides, now that you've given me them, you're kind of responsible if I hurt anybody else." Biting him was a safe bet then. "Yeah, it's fun. Liberating even." He was pissed for a moment, but it faded. Maybe it's because he was drunk, she wasn't sure.

Heh.... This chick was alright. Kodi wasn't the typical person that liked someone when they were nice to him - well, not always, at least. He was more the type to be intrigued by people with baggage like himself, people outcast by society and unafraid to break some rules. "If I was into chicks, I'd say you look pretty hot right now," he slurred, chuckling and prodding a finger against one of the sharpened canines. "An' fuck if I give a shit about you hurtin' anyone, you do whatchu want, I ain't takin' the blame." He held his hand against the wall as the world spun around him. "Yeah well, you go have fun bein' all liberated over there, I'm gonna..." Kodi quickly felt himself fading, so he made a vague gesture towards the hallway and headed in that direction. He managed to find an empty bedroom and promptly collapsed on the bed, quickly passing out. He'd likely regret this in the morning... Oh well.
