If I Can't Breathe You (Penny)

Days had passed. Lucy wouldn't say she'd been distant, but she couldn't exactly say she'd been seeking the other girl out.
Because she hadn't.
It wasn't even anything she did or didn't do. When other people were around, Penny seemed to reform back to the Blaise who hated her. And that was fine - she could play that up better than anyone else, even if it irked her to do so.
That night, the Australian had confined herself to her room. She'd already participated in the standard call from her parents. They were pedantically periodic about it. They even asked why she was so annoyed today. Today. Like they didn't get what time it was for her. Regardless, she didn't answer. She updated them on Nica's life and was done with it.
It still felt so early in the night.
After spending a little more time sending messages to Rowan and realising he was probably too busy with Alex or some other queen to answer, she aptly decided to call it a night. At least, until she heard a knock at the door.
At first she waited, because she always did when people knocked. They were rarely looking for her randomly; the people who looked for her messaged first to make sure she was even there. But when Lucy realised no one was around, or everyone was just as lazy, she decided to haul herself up and answer. To combat the cold she dragged a sweater over her body, thankful it was long enough to cover herself so she didn't need to scrounge around for pants or shorts.
Strolling out of her room, she geared up for the fun that was barraging one of her roommates. She started up before she'd even touched the door; "You leave your fucking keys here again, you little shi-?" The door opened, "-Ahh."
That wasn't her roommate.
