Growl grump growl... Everything that Gryphon was doing was making Kodi just want to snap back to being a feral, snarky jerk, but his head was still trying to catch up to everything that had just happened, and all he could manage was a groan at Gryph's cheeky response. "No shit," he replied in a low mumble. "You go around kissin' guys like that all the time'r what?" Kodi ran a slightly sweaty hand through his blonde hair, which had become even mussier and messier than it had been previous to this... Thing.

He realized his back was twisted awkwardly and somewhat painfully over the stupid book he'd dropped earlier, and he shifted slightly, only to also realize that he was sort of trapped under Gryphon's body, laying on his back with the other boy like a cage of limbs over him. It was not a place he was used to being - he was always the one in control, he liked to say what happened when and how he liked it...

Well, there was Oriel, but that was an entirely different matter...

Kodi managed a snarl as Gryphon spoke again, reaching up and pushing against his shoulder, albeit a little weakly. He was still barely getting his breath back. "You... Shut up," he growled, trying to push himself out from under the other boy. The kiss on his cheek made him squint his eye shut, and he huffed in irritation. "Stoooop," he practically whined. "You're... You're doin' weird things t'me an' I don't like it!" Partially a lie... And something he wished he hadn't said immediately after he said it. He snapped his mouth shut and wiggled more desperately to get up.

Ok. He could be honest about this, definitely. Might sound bad, but hey, better than wasting time thinking about Nick, "Practically the opposite." He thought for a second, running the numbers in his head and looking up to help his memory, somehow. "Think you're the first person I've kissed in almost two years." He looked down again, his eyes meeting with Kodi's, "Count yourself lucky, or somethin'."

Kodi's whining; it was so amusing. He smirked, "Make me." He felt the boy's squirms and chuckled. He was acting like a 7-year-old kid and Gryph was loving it. Even though he knew he might've been pushing it a bit, Kodi was a big boy, he could deal with it.

He paused a moment, letting this memory settle for a second, before nodding, "Alright." He stated, rolling off of the struggling boy. He didn't want to upset or annoy him properly after all, just tease. And if he didn't like it, Gryph would stop. But that was on Kodi's head. And Gryph wasn't gonna forget what he'd said easily. He lay on the floor of the library and put his hands behind his head as if he was sunbathing, grinning from ear to ear. "I won't do anymore weird things t'you, if you hate it so much."

If Kodi wanted anything else, he would have to fight for it.

Wait... This guy had to be fucking with Kodi now. There was no way... "Shit, are people just not good 'nough for you or what?" he asked with exasperation. "There's no way I'm the first person that's... That's shown interest in you in two years." The guy was way too good-looking for that. Just his face alone, not to mention those delicious abs.... That Kodi could now practically reach up and rub all over, as Gryphon was so close above him... "Yeah, lucky alright," he mumbled under his breath. Now if he could convince Gryph to actually get in his bed eventually...

Another growl escaped his throat as Gryph taunted him. "I'll... I'll bite you!" he warned, letting his canines grow sharp and jut out over his bottom lip. He snarled and snapped like a misbehaving dog, but even though he could have reached Gryphon's skin, he didn't. He... He didn't actually want to hurt Gryph... Even if he was a stupid gorgeous moron.

When he finally got off of Kodi, the southern boy laid there for a moment, moaning and grumping about what he'd let Gryphon do. He eventually sat up and glanced over at Gryph lying in the floor, but when the older boy announced... Wait! "N-n-no, I didn't mean... I didn't mean never," he backpedaled desperately. "Just... Just not outta the fuckin' blue like that! Caught me off guard, made me feel weak," he grumbled.

Nope, he didn't secretly want this to happen again. He didn't want Gryphon to surprise him into making an idiot out of himself, especially where someone could find them! Nope nope nope... ".... You gonna get your book now, 'r what?" he finally said, shakily getting to his feet and picking up the book he'd dropped. "I got... Other shit t'do."

Gryph just chuckled at Kodi's confusion. "That's true, you're not." He had been flirted by quite a few bow and girls alike, but more girls than boys. Some of them didn't seem to understand his sexuality, and at the time, he was still trying to recover from the damage Nick had created. "Just because I could've been muckin' around with people doesn't mean I had to." So Kodi was kind of lucky. He'd picked just the right time to pop up out if nowhere; if anything, if they'd met before now, say last year or something, when Gryph was practically in a depressive slump, he would've ignored the southern boy or been irritated. He was lucky indeed.

Gryph was honestly a little scared of the sharp teeth. Anyone would be, I mean, if you're lying on top of somebody and then BAM! they have fangs poking out of their mouth, that's bound to give anyone the heeby-geebys. But even considering that, he tried his best not to show his emotions. He grimaced a little, some unstoppable tension in his face, and he raised his brow, "No, thanks." He rejected, as if it had been an offer, and not a threat.

Gryph glanced over at Kodi as he protested, still smiling wide. He gave a single slow nod, as if he was considering what the boy had said, "Right." He took in everything Kodi said, but the things was he hadn't hurt him, he wasn't running away screaming or worse, attacking him and they only reason he was showing upset was at the idea of never doing that again. Gryph had him hook, line and sinker and he knew it, "So I gotta tell you everytime that I wanna kiss you?" Now he was in a 'humph', sitting up pretty quickly, "That would ruin all the fun!"

He breathed and shrugged his shoulders, picking himself up off of the floor. That book was the reason he had come here (although it would most definitely not be on his mind as he left) so he considered this fair enough. But he stayed silent, scanning the racks and picking out the occasional book, before replacing it and moving on. The second book he had chosen so far would've suited, but he was a master at time wasting, procrastination could easily have been his middle name.

Well... Kodi supposed he did feel lucky now. Apparently Gryph found his feral, snarky, grumpy behavior attractive somehow, more attractive than he'd found anyone else in two years? That was a damn miracle. "Hmph," he grumped again. "Can't say the same for me. So... Don't you go all feelin' special." Even though Gryph was definitely the first person to be able to make Kodi stupidly out of breath and confused like this. Well, Oriel did in his own way, but that was just... Carnal stuff, mostly. Not all of this... Stupid fluffy fluttery nonsense. Gryph could probably tell he was lying... At least about the 'special' bit. It was obvious Kodi wasn't used to this shit.

At least the teeth thing seemed to work... Kind of. It didn't get a huge reaction out of Gryphon, though. "You sure? A lotta people like it when I nibble," he growled, his voice going a little playful and flirtatious against his will. Ughhhhhhhhhh. Stop. It.

Fuck this shit! Gryphon had him and he knew it, and Kodi wished he could do something to prove otherwise, but he was stuck. Because... He wanted this to keep happening. As much as he tried to deny it... He did. "Ugh... I don't know..." he grumbled, pressing his hand against his face and sighing loudly. At least, he realized, Gryph made it seem like he would do it again, despite Kodi's... Kodi-ness. "... Just don't do it if there's a lotta people around..." he finally mumbled, blushing face still hidden behind his hand. The last thing he wanted was for people to see him melt like an idiot because of a stupid boy.

Kodi slumped against the bookshelf as he waited for Gryphon to pick out his book, which was taking for-freaking-ever that the Chinese boy was sure he was just messing with him. "Just choose a damn book and be done," he grumped, pushing himself off the bookshelf and beginning to edge away. "I'm gonna head out. You... Know where t'find me." Kodi needed to... Do something... By himself now. He was way too worked up to be able to sit quietly in the library and read now.

Kodi's usual behaviour honestly wasn't what was attractive in Gryph's eyes. It was the idea of a challenge, and someone who had put up such a violent and feral front had to be hiding something. Also, Kodi was pretty damn fucking hot... and maybe he enjoyed making someone so tough squirm. And about feeling special? He felt like that right now. Its not everyday that you make someone's own legs collapse underneath them. In a safe, friendly way of course. So he smirked at Kodi's comment, leaving that to be his reply.

"Hm... maybe later." He went along with it. But those teeth were still freaking scary. And Gryph was alright with dealing with pain, but teeth? Not yet.

He watched Kodi struggle with himself, trying his best to stifle any waves of laughter that came over him. He continued to smirk though, he was enjoying this way too much, it should've been illegal or something. "I'll keep that in mind," he said, also making the small mental note that there wasn't anyone around now, still. Not even the librarian had showed up (but that was probably a good thing).

Ah, there we are, more complaints. He stopped his 'searching' to look at Kodi for a second, before swiftly approaching one of the first books he had pulled out, sliding it off the shelf again to take with him. As soon as he'd done that, he went up to the boy again. He looked as though he was about to say something, lips parting and taking a breath in, but he said nothing. Instead, he went in on the boy's lips one last time (he honestly couldn't help himself), holding himself there for mere seconds before turning and walking in the opposite direction.

He wasn't gonna get lost going out, he'd be fine.

Kodi let his teeth slip back into their normal states, wincing a little at the pain that came with it. Gryph would definitely get to know them better if he hung out with the dentokinetic long enough... And if Kodi actually got his way.

"Good," he grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest and looking away. If Gryphon decided he wanted to go against Kodi's wishes to keep this private, Kodi would... Do something! He just didn't know what. No one could know about this. Nope, he wouldn't even tell Oriel...

Kodi paused as Gryph finally grabbed whatever he was looking for, hesitating as the other boy drew closer. He rose his brow, expecting some sort of teasing remark, but was met with yet another surprise kiss. Oh for fuck's sake...! Before Kodi could hardly even do anything about it, it was over, and Gryphon was gone, leaving Kodi breathless and frozen once again.

It was several moments after Gryph disappeared that Kodi managed to find his voice. "You... You jerk!" he hissed, but it was unlikely that the other boy could hear him now. Kodi stuffed his hands in his pockets and stalked off, desperate to blow off some steam from this stupid... Ridiculous interaction.
