Oriel kept his head down but let his hand squeeze her when she laced their fingers together. "Thank you," he muttered softly. Her touch, the kind that showed she cared and didn't want there to be a distance between them, was far more calming than any cigarette. Or even a good hard fuck.
He puffed out more smoke, sampling the myriad of flavors in the herbal cocktail. "Hmmm….this shit's pretty good," he admitted, looking down on the pipe. "I could get used to this." Then again, it probably cost a good chunk of money. He was going to have to cut back on cigarettes anyway, too fucking expensive to buy, especially when he didn't even smoke that much. Oriel leaned his own head against hers as she locked her arm around his. Yeah…whatever was in this stuff he was finding pretty relaxing already.
Oriel raised an eyebrow at the tone in her comment. "Oh, you think so?" Oriel snorted, resting his head back against the wall. "Maybe…but I don't really go for the guys." At least he hadn't ever thought about it before. He shrugged, thinking over what he remembered about Cam. "He ain't really my type, anyway." Oriel didn't really go for the blondes.
"Alright," he said, "but if you change your mind, you know where to find me." Oriel wasn't really sure what he could do to threaten the other guy anyway. The boy wasn't really in the best of shape anymore. His years at Hammel had made him lazy.
He didn't know quite what to say at her confession. He supposed it made sense, getting pregnant with a kid when you were still pretty much one yourself. Just a few minutes ago, when Oriel had thought the child was his, he was damn scared himself. Oriel could only imagine what it must be like for Tak. It wasn't a joke for her. "…..I know," was all he could think to say.
