Okay... That was kinda adorable. Kodi snickered again at Gryph's reaction to his touches, shaking his head in wonder at his own emotions. It was weird, how much just knowing that someone liked him and wanted to spend time with him was making him feel less... Awful. He was far from being completely changed, but it was definitely there.

He only remembered now how dumb he'd thought Gryphon had been in the library, and wondered how long it would be before the older boy got bored in here. Kodi'd keep an eye on him; he didn't want to get so into his obsession that he forgot the real reason they had come to the mall in the first place. Because as much as he liked books... Gryph was far more entertaining. And responsive.

Kodi grinned as Gryph spoke, letting out a small, incredulous laugh as he slowly stood up straight and rose an eyebrow at his date. "Do stupid lines like that work on all the guys?" he teased, taking both of the boy's wrists in his hands. Shooting a look left and right, and feeling safe from the lines of sight of anyone between the two shelves, he leaned back against the bookshelf and sent a challenging, suggestive look up at the boy. "Books are interestin' and all, but even the raunchy stuff doesn't quite give me the satisfaction I need." Kodi tilted his head, rubbing the pad of his thumbs over the back of Gryph's hands. "You gonna help me with that?"

Fuck... Now he was making himself even more needy than he'd meant to. It was going to be really difficult, trying to get used to seeing someone without the sex. At least he might be able to survive on long, desperate kisses for a while... Maybe.

Things had been different with Nick, a lot different. The dark-haired boy had taken charge almost completely, taking over what they did, where they went... he wasn't controlling in a sense of anything serious, but he was definitely being the alpha male. And although Gryph was happy with it at the time, he hadn't experienced much else in the way of relationships.

Now that he had a comparison, it was easy to tell the difference, and it was a difference that Gryph was glad to notice. It made him smile wider, feel lighter and brighter and it felt more... genuine. Now he had taken a few steps back, the fake atmosphere that had loomed around Nick seemed all too clear... he was more than happy that that fuckhead was out of his life.

Gryph raised his eyebrows as Kodi took up his arms, smirking, "I don't use lines like that on all the guys." He smirked, becoming as cheesy as the romantic flicks that Kodi had shown his distaste for, "Only the important ones." Well, the important one. There was no-one else.

All the warm fuzziness that had evaporated before was rushing back and Gryph was pretty powerless to stop it. And Kodi wasn't helping at all. But that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. "I'm not busy." He replied (stupidly), grinning a little.

His vision flicked down to the boy's lips and then back up, up to his eyes. He wasn't playing games, he was pretty certain Kodi knew of his intentions. He was just holding back as much as possible, which was difficult. He leaned forward slightly, which could be perceived as going in for a kiss, but instead he evaded and looked at the books behind the blonde, grinning like and idiot and hating himself for not just kissing him like he wanted to do.

Kodi had... Well, he didn't really have anything to compare to. He'd had a lot of lovers, sure, but nothing that could be considered an actual relationship. He'd always been awfully dominant in those instances (except with Oriel, but that was a different matter), so the fact that he was being so... Not... Now, was a complete surprise to him. Especially because... He was alright with it.

He'd never been an outgoing, alpha-type guy when he was younger. It was the environment that he'd lived in that he felt had forced him to become that way. So now that he was starting to let his guard down... It was almost like he was a kid again.

Kodi rose a brow at Gryph's statement. "Oh?" he taunted, smirking right back. "Well, don't I feel special." He knew he should be vomiting from all of this, but... Well, the cheesiness was a lot different when it was directed at you. "It's workin', at least." He'd give Gryphon that much, as ridiculous as he was.

He chuckled, feeling his own rush course through his limbs, heart beginning to thump wildly in his chest at the close intimacy between the bookshelves. "Good," he replied simply, licking his lower lip. He took a deep, quiet breath, prepping himself for the kiss that was about to come, but when Kodi closed his eyes and parted his lips slightly, he waited for the familiar pressure... But nothing came. Confused, he blinked open to see Gryphon... Looking at the books behind him!? "What the fuck," he said with an exasperated laugh. "You nerd, you're cruel!" He let go of his grip around Gryph's wrists and shifted away, purposely avoiding looking at the older boy as he crossed his arms, huffed, and ignored him. "When I'm more interestin' than those, you lemme know." And he continued to stand there like a statue, looking away.

Gryphon had seen many sides to Kodi. He'd seen the flirting side in many different ways, he'd seen the adorable side that just wanted cuddles and attention and he'd seen the vicious side (even though he was oblivious of how serious that side was). He honestly didn't have Kodi labelled down with a specific personality, he was just too... rapid-fire, random. It kept him on his toes.

"As you should." He answered, trying to reign back the cutesy-ness of it all. He had said it and it made him cringe internally just thinking about it. But Kodi was special to him, and he hoped the other buy didn't take that lightly. He smirked, "Then I'm doin' my job right."

Awh, crap. He didn't mean to annoy the guy! Ah, he'd be fine. That moment was way too cliche anyway. "Look who's talkin'." He teased, still studying the titles in front of him with mock interest as the boy slipped out of his grasp. Something inside of him sank a little. He would rectify this. Smirking at the boy's childlike behaviour, Gryph chuckled a little, quickly concocting an idea in his mind.

He lay down on the floor, hands behind his head like he'd done that day in the library. He looked up at the ceiling and couldn't hold back a mischevious little grin, almost giggling,

"I won't do anymore weird things t'you, if you hate it so much."

Ughhhh... Kodi shouldn't be falling for all this stuff, but he was, and he was letting himself be amused and flattered without thinking too much about whether or not that was a good idea. He was just... He was having fun, and he didn't want it to stop! Even the run-in with Oriel was already becoming a thing of the past. All he could think about was Gryph in front of him here, now.

"I ain't a nerd," he grumbled, scuffing a shoe on the ground. Even he knew that wasn't true; it was weird, having someone he knew that he was... Sort of alright with knowing about his hobby. Gryph would know the sort of thing to buy him, at least, if he wanted to. And, well... He found that he trusted Gryphon not to tell anyone.

Kodi peeked back out of the corner of his eye as his date suddenly laid on the ground, brow creasing with confusion. Oh... Oh, no. Kodi quickly picked up where this was going. Even before Gryph repeated what he had said weeks earlier, Kodi knew.

"You're impossible," he whined, looking left and right again to make sure no one was around. Then, without further ado, he leaped on the guy, straddling himself over Gryphon's hips and immediately slipping his hands up the boy's shirt, tickling and teasing his sides with a mad grin. "You know what I wanted you t'do!" he protested, pinching the skin along his v-line. "An' I ain't gonna beg for it." Nope, he'd make Gryph beg him to stop tickling him first. Hopefully no one would stumble upon the pair wrestling around like a couple of loons.

Gryphon's thoughts matched up to Kodi's very well. Oriel was practically dead to him, not crossing his mind even once. All he could concentrate on was the blonde boy he was going out with, because so far, this felt like the best day ever.

"Suuuuure." He retaliated lightly, stretching out the word to show his 'belief' in what Kodi had said. There was nothing wrong with being a nerd, after all. And he meant it in the most endearing way possible.

He had to have one way or another of getting Kodi to bring his attention back around, and if it meant pulling out an old card, then so be it. It was hilarious for the winged boy, though. He chuckled at Kodi's exclaimation - wasn't that the truth? He had some sarcasm resting on the tip of his tongue, but it never came into the air.

He hadn't actually thought this through properly, had he? Well, maybe he deserved it. But it was all too difficult for Gryph to hold back his laughter. He suppressed it as much as possible - they were in public, after all - but his face stretched widely with a grin and his laughs came through. "No, no!" He literally couldn't think of anything. He giggled and squirmed from the sensitivity of his sides, trying to make eye contact and failing miserably.

He was finding it hard to breathe from all of the laughter, "Stop... Kodi, stop!" He protested. It was torture!! ...but he was thoroughly enjoying it.

Of course Gryphon deserved it! Kodi felt no remorse for his actions. The twerp had teased him and not given him what he wanted, no, what he needed! So of course there would be consequences. And those consequences involved torture. Tickle torture, at least.

Kodi was laughing himself as he watched Gryphon try to hold back his own mirth, doing all he could to hit all the most ticklish spots he could think of. He'd realized belatedly that his tight leather pants were quite uncomfortably tight with him stretched out over the other boy like this, but he hardly cared - Gryph's laughter was intoxicating. "You asked for it!" he taunted, having the nerve to even reach around and pinch the boy's rump cheekily. "Maybe you'll learn your lesson for next time!"

He finally relented after he was sure Gryph had done his time, resting his hands on either side of the boy's shoulders as he grinned down at him. "Is my message clear, or do I need t'do it again?" he asked, making sure his face was low enough that Gryph could finally initiate what Kodi had wanted him to do several minutes ago.

Gryphon struggled to stay as quiet as possible, giggling like a maniac. Again, he had a lack of control, but this time, he wasn't frustrated or annoyed by it... it was funny, fun. And when was the last time he had been tickled? Years ago, most likely.

It was like music to his ears, hearing Kodi's laughter intertwine with his own. He couldn't get enough of it, honestly. His mouth opened wider at the butt pinch, but all that gained was that his laughter became even louder. He was sure to attract the attention of someone at this rate... not that he cared. He shook his head, his face turning red from embarrassment and his lack of oxygen; fucking hell, he needed to breath!

When the chance arose, Gryph panted like a greyhound, only just remembering to listen to Kodi. Once his breath was suitably caught, he smirked and gave the boy a short kiss, "Clear... as day." As much as he enjoyed being tickled, it wasn't something he could bear continuously - he had his limits.

He wanted to kiss Kodi again, and once he had the oppurtunity, he was going to strike, hard and fast, but... it was awkward as he was now. He could hardly move; he chuckled, "Can I get up now?"

Kodi knew someone would probably hear them and investigate, but frankly, he didn't care at this point. He was having fun, and what was the worst that could happen? They'd get scolded, and maybe asked to leave. Big deal. It was totally worth it, feeling a high like this; it was better than the best thrills he got from fighting.

His own breathing was shallow and sprinkled with giggles as they wound down from the little scuffle; his side hurt from the uneven breaths. Finally, there was at least one small kiss, and Kodi relished it, dipping his head down to chase for more as Gryph broke away, but stopping himself at the last minute. "Good," he huffed, letting his fingers lift up and trail through the boy's hair. It was all mussy from the bout, as Kodi was sure his was, too.

Kodi tilted his head and pondered the request, eventually easing himself up and off of Gryphon, resting on his knees beside him. "I guess," he smirked, placing his hands on his knees. "You wanna go somewhere else, or...?" Kodi wasn't sure how much Gryph could actually be entertained by looking at what they were supposed to come in here for, but... Well, he'd leave it up to Gryphon what they did next.

When Gryphon danced, for hours in end sometimes, he would feel the burn and it would take a lot out if him. It was like that now, except he had the adrenaline coarsing through his veins, and a hot boy on top of him. For once, he found, there was something way better than dancing.

Luckily, Gryph wasn't as protective of his hair as some others might've been, so when he felt Kodi's hand in his threads, he smiled. The blonde locks that the boy above him.owned were a little more out of place than usual, but he still managed to looking sexy. Maybe the tousled strands added to the look...

As soon as he was free, he was so done. The boy began asking his question and Gryphon rolled his eyes, attacking the boy's lips as soon as his words trailed off into the air. It felt... different, with those piercings there as well. Not bad... but different. He didn't give it too much thought, he was just trying to make sure he didn't fall over.

After a short while, he pulled away and began standing up, smiling. "...D'you wanna... go back?"

Kodi swiped a hand through his own hair, which didn't help them lay down much. It was alright - he didn't put much effort into it anyway, usually. Bedhead was in. And Gryph didn't seem to mind, especially since as soon as Kodi was done talking, his mouth was muffled by the boy's lips on his. Well... At least Gryphon had learned his lesson. Kodi grinned into the gesture, nipping and biting playfully against Gryph's mouth, still getting used to the piercings himself. Ughhh... This was not helping his earlier neediness. It was only making it worse.

When Gryphon broke away again, Kodi grabbed onto his wrist and looked desperately at him, mouth still slightly open and breathing heavily. His cheeks were flushed all the way down to his neck, contrasting with the wild strands of white hair against his face. "G... Go back?" he repeated, rising shakily after the older boy. "To... To Hammel?" Was Gryph asking...? Or was Kodi just reading into it wrong? Whatever the case, he nodded several times and latched onto Gryph's hand, tugging him down the aisle and towards the exit that led outside just as someone peered around to apparently investigate what the noises from before were from. They'd made it away without getting caught... This time.

"... Fuck," Kodi breathed as they hit the cool air, relieved for the coolness against his hot face. "You... I dunno how you always do that," he complained, making a beeline back to the school. "I still think you have some sorta intoxicatin' power," he went on, scowling. ".... An' it's fuckin' workin'." He shot Gryphon a look to see how he was reacting to all of this. And... To hopefully get some sort of hint as to what Gryph had in mind for when they got back.

That kiss wasn't because Gryph had learnt his lesson... he'd learned a lesson, but it wasn't the one Kodi was teaching. No, that kiss was a selfish one, for Gryph's sake. Even if Kodi might've been enjoying it too, it was for him own sanity.

Gryphon took in the boy before him - he obviously wasn't the only one struggling. He nodded one or twice, "Mmhmmm." He hummed out his reply, wobbling on his legs. His instability wasn't aided when Kodi practically dragged him out of the store but... he didn't mind. He was minorly glad that no-one had said anything, though, or they wouldn't be as they were now.

It was like a splash of cold water, extremely refreshing and what Gryph really needed right now, that cutting winter air. He listened with amusement to Kodi's musings, "If I had an... intoxicatin' power, you would know properly by now." His eyesight flickered over to the blonde's eyes, "Believe me." He could torture that poor boy in ways he wouldn't even understand... it was exciting. He smiled and quickened his pace a little, they would be there soonish. "So..." he breathed out the beginning of a sentence, with no other words to accompany it.

He guessed that if it was possible, they would probably be kissing as they walked, but walking into a lamppost wasn't on Gryph's schedule today.

Fortunately, Kodi regained the use of his legs as they walked, but he was still trembling and feeling all warm and tingly inside on the way back to Hammel. He could tell that Gryph was feeling it too, which he was glad for - he'd have felt like a moron with no self-control if Gryphon seemed unaffected.

Still, he grumbled as Gryph denied his theory, shaking his head and keeping a death grip on his hand. "It sure feels like it t'me," he grumped. "S'like bein' drunk without the booze." And it was much better, cleaner and crisper, than actually being intoxicated. Kodi was astounded that someone apparently so inexperienced could do that to him. He kept up the pace that Gryph was, his slightly shorter legs working harder than usual to keep up. "So?" he repeated, letting out a breathless laugh. So... Damn.

Kodi most definitely would have been showing Gryph his passion had they not been walking; as it was, he still managed to get in the occasional nip and nuzzle against his neck, when they had to pause at street corners or the like. Finally, after what seemed like ages, they'd arrived back at the gates of Hammel, whereupon Kodi, with a devilish grin, broke his grip away from Gryph's hand and made a dash for the dormitories. "Last one there is the bigger moron!" he taunted, sprinting with all his might (and as much as he could manage in those ridiculously tight pants).

Fucking hell, he was holding onto Gryph's hand hard! It wasn't a problem, he tightened his grip in response.

That was a really good description of what it was like, and Gryphon continued to fight back, smirking, "But if it was my power, it wouldn't be affectin' me as well." The sensations, though enjoyable, were difficult to fathom, to understand. He hadn't felt anything like this before really... ever. It wasn't uncomfortable, but something he was gonna have to get used to.

And it wasn't like Gryph was doing anything special, he was just being himself.

Everytime a sign of affection was shown from Kodi as they went along, Gryph reiterated it, giving the occasional kiss on the head and such. When they reached Hammel, though... was he actually gonna - yup, there he went. Gryphon couldn't help but laugh loudly at Kodi's childlike attitude, it was incredibly adorable and his energy was addictive. He broke into a sprint when he actually computed what was happening though.

He lost sight of the boy at one point - it wasn't like he had planned on running around today! If he had, he probably would've worn something more suitable, and he wouldn't be so far behind (you keep telling yourself that, Gryph).

Kodi shot a toothy grin up at Gryph, ecstatic that the older boy was playing along. "Huh, well, maybe I got some of that intoxicatin' stuff too," he teased, landing a small bite on Gryph's shoulder. Or maybe, had he actually paid any attention in his science classes, he'd realize all this stuff was just a bunch of crazy chemicals racing through his body, making his head spin and knees weak.

Fortunately, he still managed to keep a pretty good pace as he ran; he only almost tripped a couple times, and managed to make it back to the building in one piece. Kodi was panting hard by the time Gryph caught up, and he smirked, tapping him on the arm. "You're the moron," he breathed heavily, snickering as he opened the door to go inside. Fortunately, the short sprint had distracted him a bit from his earlier neediness... But only for a moment. As soon as he got inside and started heading up the stairs, he felt the excitement all over again. Kodi had no idea what was going to happen, but he felt like there would be at least something.

He headed towards his room, making sure Gryph was right beside him as he opened the door to the common room and snuck inside, glad to see that his roommates were either in their rooms or not around. "C'mon," he urged, snagging the hem of Gryphon's jacket and tugging him towards his own room. Once inside, he shut and locked the door behind him, keeping his back turned towards his... towards Gryphon for a moment, taking a settling breath before he slowly spun around. He immediately let it out in a heavy sigh, a slight whimper escaping out as well. "Fuck, you're gorgeous," he mumbled, half wanting to just tackle Gryph onto the bed and ravish him completely, and the other half stuck to the spot, uncertain of what to do next. So he just stood there like a dummy, afraid to move.
