Sebastian smiled softly at his friend, slender legs swinging gently over the edge of the bed. “Freaks together... I like that. Thank you.” It was deeply comforting to know that there were other freaks like him; ones who realised their curse for what it was and had every intention of living a good and productive life despite this awful handicap. It saddened him a little to know that Monroe carried a little of the same burden that he did, but at least he knew that his friend was destined to be a good person. It didn't take precognition to tell that Monroe was going to be wonderful.
“It is very difficult to accept, but I am glad you are trying to find some peace with it.” Sebastian doubted that he would ever be able to come to terms with the fact that he was an abomination, but he wanted Monroe to be happy. If he could find peace with his ability, then Sebastian would be happy for him. “I hope you will be very happy, especially once you are able to graduate and escape from this place.” In truth Sebastian had been doing all he could to avoid thinking of the day when the person who was the closest thing he had ever had to a best friend would be leaving.
“I am, yes. I know they are awful for me, but... I can't help it. They are like eating delicious little clouds.” Realising that what he had just said was rather silly, crimson coloured Sebastian's cheeks and he gave an anxious little chuckle as he offered the bag over to Monroe. “I apologise; that sounded ridiculous... They just make me think of one of the few happy times I have had since I came here.”
