Dakota said nothing while Remle ranted, “That a bold face lie. You just like twenty people call up to ask you questions. There you more people calling to ask you questions than there were for me.” Dakota smirked, “No, you’re wrong, you might have had that intention with my parents, but you hadn’t canceled because you didn’t want to disappoint anyone. It was because you wanted to show everyone that I was the stereotypical rich asshole that did shit in a company ran by his parents. You were expecting me to be the complete opposite of what I am. And You wanted people to think I was who you thought I was.” How did he know? Because that’s what everyone said, that’s what everyone thought. ‘oh you completely different from how I thought you would be’, ‘quite honestly I figured you were going to make a fool of yourself’. That’s what he always heard, and he always laughed in their faces when he proved everyone wrong.
As the interview ended Dakota was quite surprised when Remle’s Aide came up to talk to him and explain Remle’s reaction. He smirked at her and shook his head, “You don’t have to explain. I’m actually a listener of hers” Kota stood up and walked closer to the aide, “She just doesn’t know it,” He whispered, “And she’s not going to, now is she?” He had been an asshole, and a part of him regretted it. “However, I doubt she likes me, I was just someone who threw her off her game because I wasn’t the brash rich idiot she thought I was going to be.” He waved his hand at her, “Keep the money, tell Remle to buy something really really nice for yourself.” He winked at Sally. Maybe this would put Kota on Remle’s good side. Dakota walked out of the building before the aide could refuse his offer, or Remle for that matter.
