Mia didn’t say a thing throughout any of it. She wouldn’t dare not to, yup, everyone just ended up hating her… She put her hand over her mouth as she started to sob. She hadn’t meant anything in the way he was yelling about… She was… just trying to help.. Why did she even have friends? She just ended up losing them… she did this with Cameron, and Noah… You would think she would have learned by now…
Why? Why did she want everything to be perfect? Why did she have to make everyone hate her…? She rested her head on the upper cabinet. Just listening to what he was saying, and still crying. He was right, it wasn’t any of her business, she shouldn’t have pushed any issue. Unfortunately she realized that too late. She was an idiot, and a bitch, she shouldn’t have lived… Everyone would have been better off with her gone… Maybe she should move back to Alaska… She couldn’t hurt anyone there, mostly because she hurt everyone she could there too… Every time she was less than perfect she hurt someone, or someone ended up hating her… She sat there telling him everything that was wrong with his relationship… At the moment she was just trying to help, but as she looked back at it, it was just her wanting him to be perfect… She wanted everyone to be perfect… Why?
Then he went on about a perfect family, she wasn’t entirely sure why he had even brought that into the picture. But the words just tore her heart apart, he wasn’t the only one who had a fucked up life. What made him think that he was the only one? That he was the only one that was hurting? She might have been born into a perfect life, but it sure as hell got ripped away from her. She sunk to her knees, her hand wrapping around the fabric of her shirt that laid on her chest. She just didn’t want anyone to get hurt…
When he left, Mia turned around and sat on the ground, resting on whatever it was that was behind her. She cried for a while where she sat on the floor. She was kind of glad her roommates were never really around. But her heart felt an urge, she had been less than perfect, and she had hurt someone… She should have just said ‘good for you’, and kept her opinions to herself… Why couldn’t she ever keep her opinions to herself? She got up and walked to her room, closing the door, quite frankly she forgot about the sack of flour. She went into one of her draws at her desk and pulled out a pair of scissors, and a lighter… She had fucked up big time this time around… She sat on the floor, resting against a wall, she pulled off one of her gloves. There was a battle between her heart and mind… And she wasn’t sure which side to chose… She had hurt someone that she ended up somehow valuing in her life… just because she had to have everything be perfect… She couldn’t even be perfect, how could Oriel be?
