Spin the Bottle (OPEN TO EVERYONE)

Gryph gave Kodi an unimpressed scowl back to him. He'd only recently begun to hear about Kodi's opinions of women, and whilst he wasn't about to force him to change his point of view, he wasn't a fan. "This isn't fourth grade - it's not like they have cooties." It also wasn't like he was really attracted to girls - come on, that much was obvious - but Gryphon thought that they were still beautiful and lovely and my god he was sappy as a tree.

Gryph didn't really think he was the jealous type... but come on, that wasn't fair! Kuni seemed nice, but he really didn't want Kodi ogling over him. "He's not bad lookin'." Gryphon's mind starting whirring - pay back. He looked over at Kuni, and kept watching him. He accepted the kiss and smiled, but then looked at Kuni again, "Well, I dunno... he's pretty fuckin' gorgeous." He tilted his head, "Wouldn't mind kissin' those lips." He bit his lip, which probably looked like he was deep in thought, but actually he was suppressing laughter. He couldn't heelp it!

He sighed, but Kodi had a (minorly) fair point. But then again, Gryph hadn't planned on really getting drunk that night, and it wasn't something he planned to do in general. Also, it was probably just an accident that he went to Kodi that night. Or maybe it wasn't. He really couldn't remember. "Fine." he said, with a huff. He wouldn't be happy is the boy projectile-vomited everywhere, though.

Gryph settled next to Kodi, and his eyes flicked up at the new voice, recognizing his room-mate, "Hey, Thane." He looked at Kodi and then back at the boy in front of them. "Uhm, spin the bottle." He said, suddenly feeling a bit sheepish, with no understanding as to why. He looked at Kodi again, "And I have no idea - soon, probably." Knowing the dentokinetic, he probably wanted this over with as soon as possible.

PAAAAAAAARTY!

Yes, George got the memo. In the sense of the word, not literally. Memos weren't exactly used... ever. Well, not to her knowledge, anyway. All the same, she did done get an invite to Carleigh's fabulous partyfication, and she was excited kind of! Because she knew what the game 'Spin The Bottle' entitled... it meant kissing. Something she was more than inexperienced at. Like, no first kiss yet. Not even with playground games. It was odd, apparently, to be seventeen years of age, and to never have kissed anyone outside of your own family. Huh. But she thought, if she was going to lose her kissing virginity, she would do it while having fun, which meant a party was the place to be!

She had a couple of bags of Maltesers, which they didn't have in America (which was an incredibly bad decision on the American's part, which was going to have to change at some point because they were all totally missing out). Anyway, she had her delicious chocolatey treats in hand as she paraded happily into a dorm that wasn't Carleigh's, but she had been informed to go to. As soon as she spotted the blonde girl, she lit up and threw her arms up, "Carleiiiigh~!" She cheered out, smiling brightly.

Ah, much happiness. The atmosphere in the room was a good one, which she was glad of. She looked around and recognized a few faces, but without names to them. God, she needed more friends... but her vision stuck on one face. Kodi's. She hadn't seen him since... was it December? Four months, holy crap. And just his face was enough to scare her to hell. She tried not to stare, and he seemed to have some people surrounding him (whether they were actually his friends or people he had manipulated into submission, she wasn't sure), so he didn't seem like he would do anything. She noticed eyes on her, and looked at his closest companion, who was looking back at her curiously. Flustered, and unused to the flusteration, she flicked her vision away. There were loads of people here. They wouldn't even come close to her... right?

Besides, this was a party, and parties were for fun! She was going to have fuuuun!!

"Come on Mia I promise it will be fun" she said dragging the pink haired girl along with her. Amelia had only come to Hammel to help Mia pack but when she heard their was a party she couldn't help herself. She didn't mind going to a highschool party seeing how it was only about a year or so she was in highschool herself. Also the people their was probably only a couple years younger then her anyway seeing how she was only 19. Of course she still knew her way around here so she made her to way to where she heard the party was. "Plus when was the last time you went to a party"?

Upon arriving to the dorm she made her way into the room her hand still holding Mia's so she wouldn't get away. " Hello room" She said to pretty much anyone who bother to listen. "Come on lets sit down" she said to Mia and made her way over to the couch.

Spin The Bottle was a game for kiiiids...but it was still fuun. Because kissing.

Brooke had gotten word from a friend of a friend of a friend and only one of those was actually a friend-kinda but either way the point was that if there was a party to be had somewhere, especially one of such enormous kissing-magnitudes, then Brooke was totes there to make the party a par-tay!

Upon stepping into the room, already Brooke recognized a few faces, like the hardcore duo Meli and Mia(to whom she sent a cheery wave to), and the giant glass o' water, Kuni. The face she didn't expect to see, however, was over there by her liquor being a sour snaggle-tooth. Brooke wasted no time in attempting to cheer up the grumpy-puss.

"Sharp-tooooth!" she cried as she pounced right onto his back and wrapped her arms around his neck as if to catch him in a headlock, keeping herself secure with his back smooshed between her thighs of steel. She looked up at the other boiz surrounding him, especially the tall blondie. "Hai~!" she greeted, extending her hand to him and pushing Kodi down by the shoulders. "I'm Brooke, nice t'meetcha!"

[Mia Bell]

Mia groaned, she really didn’t want to go. She was just fine sitting in her room packing her things to leave hammel. She wasn’t a party girl; she liked being the mopey bitch that stayed in her room/at home. She didn’t want to make any more friends than she already had. Not to mention all parties had booze and drunk people, and she didn’t like either… Then again this was Hammel, there shouldn’t be booze past the gate. Then again these were teenagers… “A year, and that party sucked…” It was Ravyn’s birthday party, and even though it was only a small group, Mia felt completely left out… She didn’t like groups of people!

Mia sighed as she plopped onto the couch closely besides Amelia. Mel could do all the talking, Mia can just sit there looking sexy. She looked at the beer that was in the room, really? How did the students find a way to bring beer on to hammel? You know past the main gate with guards, and the security guards that roamed everywhere at Hammel, oh and the dorm monitors! A pack of beer isn’t easy to hide. Yes she was going to be bitchy about the beer because she couldn’t be bitchy any other way. She crossed her arms and sighed again, looking around the room, “I don’t even know most of these people.” She smiled and waved to Brooke, someone she actually knew, then she saw River and she went through a string of curse words in her mind. Of all the people… “I hate you so much right now..” She looked at Amelia, but smiled, because she couldn’t actually hate her.

[Eloise Eaton]

Eloise wasn't sure how her roommate had talked her into it, but she was currently headed down the hall to a little spin the bottle shin-dig that Carliegh had planned. The older girl wasn't too into the idea, but her roommate had been so excited and bubbly and vocal about the idea that the only way El could get her to shut up was agreeing to attend. Carliegh had left a bit earlier to set up for the party, and after Eloise finally managed to tear herself away from her sketching and change into a cute white dress, she threw her hair up into a messy ponytail and made her way down the hall. It was probably the least effort she put into an outfit all week and she still looked super cute, in her opinion. Perfect for a spin the bottle party she wasn't too thrilled about going to. If she ended up with mono, Carliegh was going to die.

She made her way to the location of the party, and slipped in mostly unnoticed, settling her self cross-legged in a corner and pulling out her phone so she could play Tiny Wings while she waited for everything to get started. The small distraction was perfect for a girl who didn't need the lewd thoughts of the more sexually frusterated in the room to creep into her own head. It was the main reason she kept to herself at events such as these. She knew it was only a matter of time until somebody approached her, or the 'festivities' began. But until then, she was perfectly content with not even really taking time to see who else was in the room.

[Alexandra Patterson]

Alex always knew when their was a party at Hammel and almost always would show up to said party. Especially if it was rumored to have drinks. So she threw on a outfit and made her way over to the girls dorm. Alex, after making her way into the room, stood by the door frame for a second smiling and scoping out the room. Their was a lot of cute people here tonight. That was good because even though she was a good sport and would kiss anyone she was also a bit of a snob and didn't want to kiss anyone she found to be ugly. "Alright i'm here so the party can start" she joked loudly making her presence be known to anyone in ear shot. She quickly spotted the drinks and poured her self a little. What's a party if your not at least a little buzz?  She went and sat down on the floor where people where gathering around.  "Lets get this game started already kiddie".

[Tristan Hayes]

Tristan finished his glass of alcohol. Maybe it would at least loosen his tongue a bit so he could talk to someone. Nevertheless, another drink wouldn't hurt, something non-alcoholic this time. He pushed himself off he wall and put down his cane, sweeping it along the floor as he walked. It was getting a bit too loud to rely on echolocation, and the drink wouldn't be helping that either. Walking right into someone was the at thing he wanted to do.

But of course in walking through the party to get to the drinks table again, he managed to anyway. The end of his cane hit something that definitely wasn't a leg or a piece of furniture. Someone must have been sitting on the ground against the wall, with their phone out from the sound of the buttons and electronic beeps. Tristan instantly moved his cane away from whoever he'd hit, stepping to the side and trying to face where he though they were.

"Sorry!" He said, a bit quicker than he'd liked. He tried to at least be funny about it. "Didn't see you there." That joke was terrible and you know it...He thought embarrassedly, who would even get it? "Uh, anyway....I'm Tristan, I'm a bit new here...Didn't think so may people would be showing up at the party..." He trailed off as the voice of another girl announced the beginning of the 'game'. he was certainly loud about it, and her excitement...kind of worried him.

[Olivia Baker]

People kept pouring in. They just kept coming and it'd only been what... 15 minutes? She was in deep shit. Penny was going to come home, and not even be able to get into her own house and that was if they didn't get busted. The worst part was that she didn't even know 90% of the people in her own apartment and most of them seemed pretty into each other anyway which was no surprise since apparently the mutant gene affected gay men more frequently than any other type of human being. It was another sign that she was destined to be alone.  

Her mind was reeling and buzzing so fast she almost didn't hear River speak. "Yeah." She answered. "He's cute." She wasn't even looking at him, she was scanning the room for alcohol. She needed a drink, well she needed another drink because until she was well buzzed her anxiety wasn't going to step aside at all.

"Excuse me." She said heading for the door. She needed a break already. She needed to step outside.

Even Naozumi had heard about this little get together through the grapevine. He didn’t really know what it was about, Nao didn’t even know what Spin The Bottle was, but when he asked Ray….well, ultimately they decided to go together. Parties and get togethers like this seemed to be his kind of thing, from Nao’s point of view, but it wasn’t something that Naozumi would have considered had he not such an outgoing person around to encourage him into it. Plus….well, it was kissing, right? He hadn’t kissed anyone before and while it wasn’t that big of a deal, he did think that this would be a good way to get it over with without having to straight up ask someone. No, Naozumi was far to quiet(read: shy) for something like that.

And was it horrible that he hoped that it would be Ray?

Then again…As Nao stepped into the room, the meek little thing he was, he was nearly overwhelmed by the turnout. He didn’t know anyone there. Except for the hyperactive girl, Brooke, but they weren’t exactly friends.

It was okay. Nao was still relatively new to the school, there were plenty of people he didn’t know and besides….Ray was there too. Though Nao’s eyes did happen to fall upon the single other giant in the room. He dipped his head to hide a small blush. “So…where should we sit?” he asked his companion.

He panned the crowded room until he noticed the drinks off to the side. Nao, this boy being the farthest thing from a partier or socialite, had no reason to believe that underage students would bring alcohol onto a dry campus, so the possibility that these particular drinks were alcoholic didn’t even cross his mind. “Do you want a drink?” Getting them something would at least give him something to do while they waited for the commotion to calm down and the game to start. Regardless if Ray wanted one, Nao would head over to the counter and get himself a drink. He picked up a bottle that was kind of pink and read “peach” on the front. It smelled really sweet. Must be a peach flavored drink or water or something, right? Nao poured himself a glass.

Girls did too have cooties, and yes, Kodi was eight years old. Deal with it. He just gave another grumpy noise and clung tighter to his boyfriend, wishing he wasn't in such a pissy mood but not knowing how to feel better other than leaving. And that wasn't an option.

Whoa, wait, no. Kodi snickered at first when Gryphon agreed with him about the hunka-hunka over there, but as soon as the winged boy's gaze turned back to Kuni after their kiss, his face went blank with surprise, then dark with murderous jealousy. "Okay he's not that attractive," he growled, tugging Gryph away. Oh yeah, the act was totally working on the dentokinetic, and he was not happy. If Gryph somehow got the giant bloke, Kodi might hurt someone.

He just gave a smug grin and downed another long sip when low and behold, his buddy Thane showed his pretty face. "Heyyy," Kodi greeted with a very toothy smile, suddenly all amused. "So nice of you t'show up t'this... Thing." Before he could explain, Gryph was spouting off and ruining the surprise, and Kodi elbowed him in the side, pouting. "You ruined the surprise!" he complained. "Whatever, c'mere, Graves." He grabbed Thane's arm and pulled him down on his free side on the couch, slinging an arm around the blonde. "Maybe I'll get t'lock lips with you," he teased, a feral glint in his eye. For now, he returned his attention to his winged moron, giving him a playful nip on the neck.

It didn't last long, though. Before Kodi knew what was happening, a familiar voice was crooning out a familiar and horrifying nickname, and there was a sudden pressure around his neck and back. "Ack!" he gurgled, thrown off by the weight. "Brooke, gettoff, you're gonna hurt someo-" Kodi was cut off as he was pushed down by her leaning forward to greet Thane, which only made his eyes land on that familiar face he'd beat up all those months ago. Oh, no... Why was that chick here? Kodi quickly averted his eyes and made a pleading look at Gryphon, like Please get her off of me! The shapeshifter was one of the few people even Kodi didn't want to get on the wrong side of, though that was mostly due to how they'd met when Kodi had first gotten to Hammel...

[Kunikpok "Kuni" Arrluk]

Kuni felt awkward. Really awkward. He was by far the tallest and largest person there, which made him stand out, and that wasn't really something he particularly wanted, although it did happen often enough. He sensed people looking his way but tried to ignore it, which was hard when he was just... Standing there silently trying to fit in and failing miserably because he knew no one. Maybe he shouldn't have come, maybe...

Oh hey! He knew that blonde girl!

Before he could think that it was a bad idea, Kuni followed after the girl, Eloise, who he'd run into quite by chance not too long ago. "Hey...!" he greeted, suddenly feeling awkward as soon as he actually spoke up. What the heck was he supposed to say? "It's, uh, good to see you clothed."

Oh.

Oh, no, not that.

Why did he say that!? That wasn't funny at all, that was creepy!!!

"Er, I mean," he quickly backpedaled, managing to bump into a side table and knock someone's drink onto the floor. .... Oops. "It's... Good to see you again," he said weakly, rubbing his hand on the back of his neck as his face flushed. Wow, it was really hot in here. "I don't really know anyone except Callie, so..." So that was the main reason why he felt desperate for someone to talk to.

[Thane Graves]

"What? Why the fuck am I here then?" Thane asked Gryph. There was something about him he didn't like. Maybe it was his girlish features. He turned to glare at Kodi. "This...thing? More like a fucking lame ass game that nobody plays anymore. At least I didn't think anybody did. You've seriously lost your head, Oubre. Did Matsouka make you come here and you had to make me suffer too? Fuck that."

He crossed his arms after Kodi pulled him down on the couch and slung an arm around him. "Dude, fuck off. Boundaries." He was attempting to wriggle out of Kodi's grip. "You guys can cuddle, but this isn't turning into a three way." God damn. Sure, he got along with Kodi in general, meaning he could stand to be around him. Thane wasn't sure he could call him a friend, mostly because he wasn't so sure he had normal friendships that were worthy of the word. His next comment made Thane completely withdraw from him, sitting there and looking around at the people around him.

Thane did not want to be at the party.

"Fuck that shit. This isn't a even a party. Don't even call it that," he muttered. He'd gotten used to responding to the narration in a fairly low voice as if to not draw as much attention to himself, but it pissed him off.

He barely got a chance to check out who else was in the room (as if he cared) when someone pounced on Kodi's back and he turned to see a brunette girl extending a hand to him and greeting him excitedly. "Hi," he said boredly, stormy eyes unamused. "Who is this chick?" It was annoying how much Kodi had people crawling over him. Somewhat literally. He didn't do a very good job of scaring people off, even with those teeth of his.

[Gryphon Matsuoka]

Gryph didn't want Kodi to be pissed off, but he had been planning on going to this even if Kodi had completely and utterly forbidden his own invitation. Then again, he practically did that, and somehow, Gryphon had got him here. He didn't question it - but if Kodi left, he would stay and meet up with him after or something. Mmmm.

There it was - the beautiful face of a jealous Kodi. Gryph smirked as he was pulled away, "I know." Winding Kodi up was seriously entertaining. But did it count as games? He remembered, all that time ago, promising he would stop playing games right after... making Kodi jealous... eehhh, he could deal.

"What's so surprising about it?" He hadn't exactly known that Thane was turning up - not that he had anything against the guy, he just didn't seem to be the type for this kind of this. Which he was proving right now with his annoyance - Gryph held his hands up in defense, "I dunno, I didn't invite you." There was something about Thane that intimidated him, and the guy was two years younger than him. Also, Gryphon generally didn't like feeling intimidated - he became a little stiff and awkward, not exactly comfortable. Also, what was the deal with the surnames? This wasn't the army.

He heard that kissing comment and was so tempted to mention Kuni, to make Kodi jealous again and maybe realize what he was doing to Gryph everytime he mentioned kissing someone else... but he left it. He had to be more relaxed, anyway. Just because they were boyfriends didn't mean Kodi was his property or something.

Gryph jumped a little at the sudden introduction of a girl on Kodi's back. Who called him Sharp-tooth. He'd have to use that later. He honestly had no idea what to do, though. He looked around a little for some kind of help and his eyes fell on a girl who was staring at Kodi. Well, he had a girl sat on his back, the attention was understandable, but her face unmistakably portrayed some kind of... worry. She looked over at him and he didn't look away, until Kodi's speech was cut off. He looked down and his boyfriend and... okay, he couldn't help sniggering a bit. But he would help... as much as he could. He wasn't exactly dominating and stuff, like Thane or Kodi, but he could probably attempt to lift her off if he had to. "Brooke, was it?" He said, to get her attention. "Yeah, please get offa him. Besides, his back isn't exactly comfortable. You'll probably give yourself backache from sitting on him."

...it was good a logic as any.

[Eloise Eaton]

Eloise's eyes darted up from her game when a voice was directed toward her, a lock of hair falling away from her face as her head followed the source of the voice. She momentarily stared at the figure in front of her, as if she couldn't quite remember who it was, but really it was just her brain processing where she was again. It took her a while to get back to reality when she purposely pulled herself out sometimes. However she snapped back real quick with the words 'good to see you clothed'. Her face morphed into a glare with a half smile - because as much as she wanted to hate that Kuni had brought up the situation in which they had first met, she had to appreciate his humor (even if it had come out accidentally).

He backpedaled as if it would send him back in time and remove the words he had just uttered from Eloise's memory. But instead he just knocked over a drink and successfully made the encounter more awkward than it had been in the first place. "Why do I feel like this is going to be a trend with us?" Eloise asked with a sly look on her face. She got up and reached over to pick up the cup and put a napkin down where the drink had spilled - not making much more of an effort to clean up because, hey, it wasn't her party.

When she stood upright again she smiled up at the tall clutz and said, "It's nice to see you too... I'm glad you recognized me with clothes on, actually," she joked lightheartedly, a way to let him know that she was really over the whole lake incident. She was still incredibly embarrassed, but willing to joke about it. "Had I known you were going to be here I would have brought your shirt to give back," she added. She was very thankful for the piece of clothing Kuni had provided in her time of need, and she had washed it for him in return since she wore it all the way back to Hammel that day.
