Kodi rolled his eyes, but his lips were twisting into a smile. "You kiddin'? You're totally an alcoholic," he joked. Although, even though Kodi knew that obviously wasn't true... "Remember that night when you came stumblin' t'my room an' sayin' all kinds'a weird shit 'cause you'd been drinkin'? See, I don't want that happenin' with anyone else, moron." He... Trusted Gryph. He really did. But even he knew how much peer pressure could affect someone, and he was just... Worried that Gryph might somehow end up in a bad situation.

He jerked slightly as Gryph asked if he was okay, quickly giving a loud sniffle as he wiped his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, just... Stupid cold or whatever, makin' me runny all over." Yep, that was all. He narrowed his eyes as his lover assured him he'd seen Harry Potter, but he wasn't sure he could believe him. ".... If y'say so..." he mumbled suspiciously. He'd have to test Gryph to make sure he wasn't lying!

"So... Who's your favorite character, an' why?" he asked with a wide grin as the movie started. "And you'd better come up with a believable answer, otherwise there's gonna be punishment!" And by punishment, he meant making Gryph marathon all of the movies sometime when they weren't sick.

He yawned and rubbed his eyes again (he'd decided, grudgingly, to go eyeliner-free today, since it would just smudge everywhere), blinking over at Gryph as he spoke. ".... You big dope," he mumbled, feeling his cheeks blush against his will. "That's just stupid! Then we'd both be useless like we are now!" Mumble grumble... He wasn't saying that to hide how flustered he was that Gryph was so selfless, nope. With barely any warning, Gryph planted a kiss against his lips, and Kodi squeaked, then started coughing to try to mask the sound. "... Ohhh, you're such a fuckin'.... Urgh!" Kodi sat down his soup and buried himself against Gryphon's side, wrapping both of his arms around one of his boyfriend's own and squeezing. "Just... Just watch the dumb movie," he mumbled, even as he himself continued to hide his blushing face against the older boy's arm.

Gryph paused. "...I don't actually remember any've that." He wasn't helping his case - he remembered doing the drinking and he remembered waking up and puking, but the inbetween bit was kinda... black. There was nothing. He could kinda see his point, but he chuckled, "I guess." Didn't mean he wouldn't do it, he was just acknowledging what Kodi was saying. He was kinda oblivious to the possibility of being taken advantage of... didn't really come to mind.

He let Kodi's excuse be a liable reason, not questioning it further, despite his concern. He was fine, just illness, yeah? Gryphon sniffed as well and just sighed a little in respnse, saying nothing more.

Kodi wasn't convinced. He could tell. Crap. He heard the question, sent over to him with a horribly cheeky smirk, and Gryphon tried not to seem suspicious, biting his lip and thinking for a moment. He could feel himself slowly turning red. He couldn't say Harry because... duh, he was the most obvious character, Kodi would say something - but Gryph didn't know anyone else. He kind of grimaced and looked away, "Professor Bumblebee?" That definitely sounded wrong. He turned bright red and hid his face. Nope. Great. Punishment. Whatever the hell that would be.

"Hey, at least we'd be useless together!" He protested, grinning stupidly. He knew it was a pretty dumb idea, and in hindsight of if he actually did it, he'd probably regret it for multiple reasons, but he also wouldn't. Whatever, it wasn't the case - they were both ill, most probably not by the fault of either of them and just by bad luck, so it didn't matter. What did matter what Kodi squeaking. Gryph chuckled as Kodi protested, extremely amused. He was gonna keep eating his soup, but he kinda needed both arms for that, so he put his bowl down as well for now and ruffled Kodi's hair before slumping more into the couch, putting his legs down and looking at the screen.

Kodi snorted and shook his head, an amused smile twitching at the corners of his lips. "You were so hammered that night," he chuckled. "Yammerin' an' confessin' things left an' right..." Kodi trailed off, thinking back to how overwhelmed he'd been. He hadn't known what to do other than just try to deal with Gryph until he was sober again. And now look where they were...

He kept his unwavering gaze locked onto his boyfriend as he seemed to struggle to decide who his favorite character was. Kodi's fingers slowly dig deeper into Gryph's arm until he said... "..... What?" the dentokinetic snorted. Then he burst into hysterical giggles. "Bumblebee!? You mean Dumbledore?? Oh, God, Gryph, you're hilarious!" He continued his fit of giggles into the older boy's arm, his own cheeks flushed with mirth. "You're such a bad liar! Your punishment is you gotta marathon 'em all now!" Kodi cackled evilly and leered up at Gryphon. "... I might give you a reward after if you can handle that," he added with a sly, suggestive wink.

"You're a useless lump," he snorted, bumping his head against the boy's shoulder. Seriously, what kind of stupid boyfriend would say he'd do such a thing! Moron. Kodi lo- liked the dumb idiot for it. He eventually let Gryph's arm go so they could both finish their soup; once finished, Kodi nuzzled back against him again, but it wasn't too long before he was dozing off while the movie still played. Pretty soon, he was snoring quietly.

...now Gryph was really curious. There was the obvious thing that he'd said, that Kodi had told him about (well, Gryphon coaxed it out of him), but... did he say something else? "Hope I didn't say anythin' stupid." He mused, blinking, face becoming a little stiffer from thought, but as much as he tried, he couldn't remember a think. That sucked.

Gryphon curled up and moaned loudly, trying his very best to hide his complete and utter mortification at his own stupidity. He pulled his legs up and hid, mumbling about it not being his fault, like a six year old, but he couldn't help but smile and laugh as well, face red and cheek sore from being strained by smiling. The "punishment" wasn't a bad one, necessarily. But now? Did he mean now now, or later now? Did that make any sense? ...barely. The idea of a reward was enticing, and Gryph peeked at his boyfriend and caught the wink... knowing Kodi, he could guess what the younger boy had in mind. "You can't punish me for bein' uncultured." And he'd probably fall asleep halfway through.

Gryph smirked, "I'm your useless lump." He said, without really thinking. Once his arm was free, he did the same as Kodi, nomming the soup before curling up more around the dentokinetic. He kept watching the screen, not really realizing that Kodi had been drifting off until he noticed the fact that the other boy hadn't spoken in a while, and looking at him to find he was asleep. Gryphon chuckled softly to himself, but left the boy alone, knowing he wouldn't want to be woken if the roles were reversed, especially as they were both ill and grouchiness was likely. He continued to watch the movie, not properly following what was going on, and slowly letting his sick mind drift off as well.
