Axelle didn't want to hurt anyone... Well, that was good. Benji was glad to hear that. Although given her personality so far, he could have guessed. He just didn't want to risk potentially making her angry or jealous or heartbroken and eeeepp...
"That's fine with me," he told her, more than happy to stay out if that's what made his Xellie comfortable. Mmm... Benji really did like her, she was so adorably sweet and just a little clumsy and that just made her all the more endearing. Perfect was boring. As Ben got caught up in the music, though, he nearly forgot she was there - that tended to happen when he danced, the world around him just sort of melted away until it was just him and the rhythm, with the beat pumping in his veins and his body flowing like water transitioning from one move to the next...
It lasted forever and no time at all, and soon enough the song was over and he stood there breathing a little hard. Benji came out of his daze when Axelle started clapping and complimenting him, and he grinned, looking almost sheepishly at her. "Thank you, thank you," he cooed, bending over in over-dramatic bows with a flair of his arms. "No need to be jealous, love... I could teach you if you'd like." He was going to go to her, but she seemed intent on running to him, so Benji slowly walked forward until... She tripped. He yelped and ran forward, kneeling down to offer a hand to help her up. "Are you alright?" he asked with concern. "This courtyard is dumb, the ground is so uneven some places..."
He wanted to check if she was okay, but it was hard to tell under the faint light of the moon, and Axelle did act like she was alright... Especially given what she said. Benji blinked, then laughed, rubbing his hand against the nape of his neck. If it'd been brighter, she might have seen a faint blush on his cheeks. "It's quite alright," he chuckled. "You're damn adorable, you know that?" For the third time that night, he dipped down to meet their mouths together, gradually taking her hands in his until he broke away to study her palms. "Are you hurt?" he asked, trying to determine if she'd scraped herself. "Maybe it'd be best to sit down..." He motioned to a nearby tree and moved to settle down at the base, opening a space for the girl to sit in his lap. He didn't want this night to end for a while yet...
