“Awesome!” Ray exclaimed his eyes turning into little crescent moons as he smiled. He was excited, he’d never heard of someone just making a game for fun and to be able to play them, well that was basically giving Ray the right to claim he’d played a game no one else had played and that pretty much gave Raylaigh even more rights to preen. He was a prideful peacock and he loved showing off. It was basically perfect. If this kid ever wanted his game to go places he would just have to let Raylaigh give it a try and a few boasts later he’d have a great audience looking to play his game, if only to shut the flyer up.
Raylaigh fluttered them briefly, as if to prove that they were real as the kid looked at them with fascination. “Sure, go ahead,” Ray said resisting throwing in a joke about buying him dinner first. Sometimes… well all of the time, Raylaigh came onto people very strong. He had far more personality in his thin body than should be allowed. Some people with wings were very sensitive and well, Ray’s wings were very sensitive, but some people took serious offense to people touching their wings. Raylaigh had never been one of those people, he was just as curious and he was like a child, he learned everything by touching, experimenting and doing. His mother still told him to put his hands in his pockets when they went anywhere with a lot of glass things, which considering Ray’s clumsiness was either a brilliant idea of a terrible one.
Lips dropping into an ‘o’ shape, things starting to click in his mind. “Oh,” he said and suddenly things started to make sense, but also more questions came to his mind. “Like you can go in and do things with the computer? Can you like make them move and stuff?” He asked, acknowledging a split second later that that was probably a very stupid question. Ray blink a sudden idea over coming him. “Could you control robots and stuff?” He asked, for completely no reason other than that the thought occurred to him.
