The call hadn't lasted for too long. In fact, it took less of a time than it took Anthy to work up the nerve to put on the bathing suit that had arrived in the package earlier. It wasn't very showy, and it didn't expose much. Well, not any more than any other one piece swimsuit that didn't involve being designed like a wetsuit or something.
She still wasn't very sure about it though. Not just the suit, but the swimming that would be involved. Anthy had sank like a rock the last time she attempted to swim and even if that had been a pretty long time ago, she was still iffy. Anyways, swimming was usually a group event, right? So there had been more reason for her not to have pursued it. It was a little late to back out of it now though... She had looked at the suit for a while even before putting it on. It was a darker blue colour, and had... well, they weren't exactly frills but she wasn't sure on what else they could be called. And, it more of looked like some really short skirt than a bathing suit. It'd be alright though, right?
After having gotten it on, she pulled on a pair of shorts and a tee shirt before stepping into a pair of shoes and making her way down to the pool where Matt was likely already waiting on her. Oh she hoped she hadn't kept him waiting for long. Maybe she should have called him after she had already gotten her suit on? But then again, that might have been making her assume too much as if she had put the suit on and he said he was busy or something, then she would have just had to change again or feel silly all day.
Anthy timidly made her way through the doors that led to the pool room and everything about her body language sent out the message of shyness. She tried to hold it in a bit though.
"Sorry I took so long." She said with an embarrassed smile when she saw that he indeed was there.
She then moved to the wall beside the door before taking her shoes off and going on to pulling off the clothes she wore over the suit.
