While Luke wasn't fond of this place, there was a certain appeal to the gym he had first ''met'' Jen. Mainly that of being able to train there with equipment you wouldn't really find anywhere else. Either that or he just didn't want to go out and buy other equipment, or didn't have room for more. This place had plenty of that, room that was.
He took some time to look around as he hadn't been here in quite some time due to not really wanting to workout in a public place, not because people would be able to see him but because most devices were occupied any other time of year. Luckily Luke lacked something in this department that helped him quite a bit: common sense. Where most people spent their holiday break with family or friends or on vacation somewhere or just having fun outdoors he was one of the few that saw the opportunity to go workout in a nearly abandoned gym.
So when he stepped through the door he received an absent nod from the person behind the counter and he sent a nod back as he walked to something he knew, the treadmill. He wanted to work up a sweat before anything else and smiled at the thought as he went to the changing room to put on his training clothes and realized that he wouldn't be able to do what he was used to at Hammel. He wouldn't be able to take off his shirt as this was a neat joint, or so he thought.
It didn't matter much though as he took out his music player from his bag and plugged the earbuds into his ears, plopping the player in his pocket. With In Flames blaring in his ears and him mouthing the words to it he turned on the treadmill and went for a slight jog at first, mainly because he had no need starting slow and instead could just use his ability to move at full speed without warming up.
Within ten minutes he broke a single drop of sweat and smiled at the feeling as he turned up the treadmill, forcing himself to move even faster.
