Kodi definitely hadn’t expected the reaction that Oriel ended up giving to Gryph’s demand. He’d expected the younger boy to leer, or laugh, or make fun of his old-man-cripple, but it was amazing to watch the humor drain out of Oriel’s eyes and smile. Kodi just stared, not believing his eyes. The very Evil Overlord himself, scared of his hobbling, sleepy, dopey boyfriend? Were pigs flying?

He didn’t even laugh, he was so stunned. It took him a second to realize the younger boy was handing the phone over, but Kodi quickly took it and deleted the video that was on there before grudgingly handing it back. “Might want t’delete your boyfriend’s porn before you let someone look at your phone next time…” he mumbled with a slight sneer. Who would want to watch that pixie on a tiny screen, anyway? Let alone in person…. No Kodi would not admit he had, several years ago.

But he was digressing. Mostly just because he was stunned that Oriel was behaving. Kodi crossed his arms and stepped back to stand by his lover, still looking at the ink manipulator. “Yeah, what’re you doin’, bargin’ in?” he pressed with a small scowl. Kodi wouldn’t be surprised if he’d just been in the area and wanted to come bug them. “Maybe next time, I’ll have t’sneak into Phoenix’s room and film you two watchin’ some of your stupid singalong shit…” he mumbled. Musicals weren’t his thing, obviously. Kodi reached over and snagged Gryph’s free hand. Even if their cuddling was interrupted, that didn’t mean he had to stop being affectionate completely.

Oriel gleaned a vast amount of pleasure from being an ongoing annoyance and pain-in-the-neck to all the people ever, including those who were supposed to be his closest friends. Like Kodi. Despite their shaky relationship over the past couple months, it filled Oriel with glee to see Kodi chasing after him like the kitten he was, pouncing at Oriel for his phone, rather than cowering in a corner because he envisioned something more terrifying to the ink manipulator.

And of course, Gryph had to go ruin his fun by coercing him with that ‘momma’ look that threatened to hate him forever if he continued on with his bout of fun. Where was everyone’s sense of humor? Couldn’t they take a joke? Oriel was just trying to have some fun…

On a side note, if this happened to him(by Kodi, for example), Oriel would continue on with whatever intimate moment he was having with Phoenix, cheekily giving the camera-man the bird and quite possibly making the scene even more vomit worthy, either from the adorable-cuteness, or from being outright lewd….but that was Oriel.

“Right,” he said shortly, feeling a mixture of meekness and irritability at his fun being interrupted. And that he was actually complying with the cripple’s request. He scowled, flitting his eyes between the pair then away to the door. “Might want to make sure you close your door all the way next time,” he explained defensively. “If it weren’t me, you might be missing your tv or some shit ‘stead of just getting your resident friendly voyeur.”

With that out of the way, Oriel took back his phone and stuffed it, along with his hands in his pockets, and rocked on his heels like an indignant kid. “I’s just coming to show you something….” he mumbled.
