Yes, Bunny blushed often enough that she probably didn’t need to wear the fake stuff on the apples of her cheeks. But at least it was endearing, right? At least, that’s what her parents said. “Okay, okay, I’m sure you do,” she giggled at him. He was a big, strong, leader of a man, after all, of course he could take care of himself! Bunny was just being silly.
She brightened again at his words, glad that he would at least take a look at her stuff. Bunny hoped she hadn’t put up too embarrassing of a video recently… Ah well, too late to worry about it now. “That would be wonderful,” she chirped happily. What if he started watching her videos more frequently? She would have to make sure to put up only cute things in the near future (not that any of her things weren’t cute, really).
Bunny didn’t notice him say anything embarrassing, if he did. She was too busy oogling at how good he looked up there, talking so effortlessly and professionally. She wished she was more like that. Maybe Bun would have to ask him some tips sometime, for class presentations and stuff…. Urgh… she hated those. And she hoped he wouldn’t expect her to give such speeches in front of the club, despite her saying she would do all she could to help. She shook her head at his apology once everything was all said and done, all smiles. “It’s okay! Like I said, I understand, really. I don’t think it’s as bad as my first name at all, but…” Maybe she was just biased already. She blushed again at his question, and nodded meekly. “Uh, it’s um… Margery,” she said quietly. “It sounds like an old lady name.” At least, she thought so. Bunny was much cuter, and suited her personality, she felt. She nodded enthusiastically at his uncertainty. “It was great! I would never be able to be that calm and confident in front of people.” Bun glanced at the clock, then, and realized she should probably be getting home to work on homework. “I, um, I gotta go now, but I’ll make sure to text you, okay?” she said as she began to back out the door. “I’ll see you Friday!” With a wave and a giggle, she darted out into the hallway. Bun would be smiling all the way home.
