Videos? Oriel posed like a movie star. “I’m sure I’ll be fabulous!,” he decreed, his hand flipped up in the air like the drama queen he was. Oriel didn’t know much about youtube vlogging….but he was excited nonetheless. Oriel leaned down and grinned in her face. “Right, you do that. I’ll be….around.” Somewhere. Here. There. Around. Twiddling his thumbs, probably, waiting for it to happen.
Oriel wondered how innocent this girl must’ve been to outright believe him and his ridiculous claims. It tempted him to spin more tales if just to see how gullible she was. Messing with people’s heads, that was Oriel’s specialty, hands down! His greatest feat yet in that area was convincing George she was a princess from a far off land and he was her fiancée. Oriel smiled at her thanks. “Anytime. I wouldn’t want anything terrible to happen to you, after all.” Though honestly Oriel wouldn’t put it past that prancy-dancer-poser to try to weasel his virgin ass into her skirt just because he thought it was cool.
He did feel bad, though, that she had to be subject to his not-so-nice(he was being nice before?) attitude out of nowhere. Fuck his stupid---- he didn’t even know what to call it anymore. His problems, as he usually referred to it. Fuck fuck fuck. “I’m fine.” Maybe. “I’ll be fine, I’s just…..I get mood swings sometimes, ain’t nothing to do with you, so you ain’t got to worry, alright?” That was an explanation. He continued to offer her a strained smile. “I’ll be better once I get some candy in you, just watch,” he said teasingly, poking her tiny tummy. Oriel loved to dote, and that’s exactly what he needed to do right now.
Or more trolling. Either worked. “Jackson….” he mused, wondering where he’d heard that name before. Though honestly, Hammel was a big school. There were probably a dozen or more ‘Jackson’s’ wandering around. Maybe only half of them were probably handsome. “I’m going to need more to go on than that if I’m going to track him down and threaten him to being good to you,” he commented, only half joking. There were some fire alarms going off in his head, something about a familiar pattern regarding his sudden ‘protectiveness’ of this girl he only just met…..but he disregarded when the chance to talk about his Squishy popped up. Immediately Oriel’s eyes brightened, as if he hadn’t been feeling down just moments before, and he grinned and cackled. “Even better,” he told her, snickering in delight as he pulled her along behind him. Oriel turned, slowing down slightly. “I got a fiancée!” he announced, holding up a finger as if this was the most noteworthy news in the world. Well…..it was to him!
