It was obvious Devyn was withholding information from the Texan. But that was okay since Luke had information of his own he'd like to keep under wraps, and assuming that he could easily see that it would be a dick move to tell Devyn to freely mention whatever he knew or wanted to say.
Lucas could mention he noticed it though, and also say that despite seeing that much he wouldn't force the guy to say it. Maybe that'd put him at ease a bit or something.
Man, was it weird meeting someone else with almost the same ability though, as Lucas now had to assume all he knew was also something the guy before him knew. It was also kinda fun though due to Luke thinking he was the only one for a long time to only now be corrected and actually be talking to someone who was like him. Well, like him..
For one, he hadn't expressed any interest in the hooking up comment, which already set him in a different, more decent category, but he also seemed to actually show interest in Luke who was a guy. The Texan couldn't for the life of him get himself to be interested about a guy, women was where it was at, plain and simple. Guys had no.. they just didn't mix all that well with the mindset of Lucas.
''Ah, yeah..'' He scratched the back of his head as he received the question and shot Devyn a smile. In his own world, asking about any type of kissing indicated a need for something more, so Luke obviously felt hesitant when he needed to come up with an answer. ''Caffeine kinda.. makes me body go inta auto-pilot, if that makes sense..? An' while I do know what's happenin' I can't do shit ta stop it.'' He explained.
