When Devyn first met Bunny he hadn’t really expected their friendship to go quite the way it did. He wouldn’t say they really hit it off, not in the way that people would normally describe as such at least. He’d definitely liked her cooking, and he thought she was a sweet person. He had never really expected the way she grew on him, like some ridiculously adorable fungus.
They chatted fairly regularly, whether they bumped into each other around campus or she sent pictures of her latest confectionary concoction.
While they did text back and forth on occasion he definitely noticed a sudden… increase in messages not long after he’d mentioned a certain curly roommate of his. It was one of her many endearing traits, that was pretty bad about being sneaky and eventually just began to ask questions about Fancy.
He didn’t push to ask if she had a crush on him, he doubted she was really sure about it, and Bunny seemed to form innocent crushes on a lot of guys she met so he didn’t really mind investigating for the sake of satiating her never-ending curiosity.
In fact, he kind of enjoyed it. He felt very sneaky, despite the fact that he was probably as subtle as a baseball bat to the head, but he doubted Fancy would actually figure anything out.
He was after all, about as cheerfully oblivious as Sunar.
“Hey Fancy,” he peered into the open room, knocking at the door. He peered around the room, trying to see if he could glean any information from its contents, “What are you up to today.” Ah, yes, he’d bait the hook with casual conversation and then reel it in.
