Sean wouldn’t and couldn’t force her hand to try meditation, but he did find it relaxing, and he had wanted to share all of his coping mechanisms with her. She had asked, after all, and the empathetic part of him (which was most of him) didn’t want anyone to suffer needlessly, particularly not a fellow psychic. The least he could do was provide the information she requested and offer to assist her further, if she wanted to pursue that avenue.
His patience and calm demeanor weren’t as natural as those around him believed. Yes, he was a naturally patient person with a level head, but he had reached this stage in life through practice and life experience at least as much as through natural inclination. However, that was a conversation for another day.
Speaking of future conversations, he added, “Tell me how your meeting with the Side Effects Specialist goes.” He wanted to know, since he and Cleo had a relationship, and because he wanted to further tailor his advice to what she worked out with other professionals.
With that, he smiled at her and said, “Of course. You have a good rest of the day.”
Should she change her mind, he was available to assist her.
