Shane nodded and grinned. So your to blame for that storm that soaked me. Shane's eyes were playful, he really didn't mind he'd gotten to meet her. Well I'm glad I could save the rest of our classmates from your bad mood. With a smile Shane looked out over the clearer day. hmm.. you know what... ice cream sounds amazing... want to head over to the cafeteria? Shane hoped she liked ice cream because it was totally what he was craving.

Anette grinned. Ice cream sounded great. I’m glad you could save our classmates from my bad mood too. And ice cream sounds wonderful. She jumped up and was distracted out the window again.

It was amazing how much the weather changed, all because of her too. She didn’t like it, but it was cool sometimes, she could make it sunny and warm during the winter and completely ruin the balance of nature, but supposing where was the fun in all of that? She didn’t know.

Shane grinned and opened the door giving a silly bow for her to go through first. Looking up the sky he took a breath and looked down at his shorter companion. Taking the paper he jotted a quick sentence down. So how's your brother liking having you on campus?

Anette laughed as he did a silly bow and walked through the door and took the paper to write down, Frankly, it’s like he’s not here at all. I barely see him and I think it’s because he’s soo busy of doing older kid stuff. I mean, I’ll see him in the hallway or online or something, but I don’t really talk to him. I guess people were right when they said absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Shane grinned. I know a lot of times people can get distracted by life. Perhaps just making a 'date' with him as it were. SO that he knows that time just for you two to hang out. He may also be trying to give you space so you can learn your way around the school the same way he did.

That’s not a bad idea. And you may be right, but I don’t want to be alone here. I was alone at my home, and at the school. I’ve always been the strange one, but here…here I fit in and I don’t want that to go to waste. I am glad I met you Shane. Now where’s that ice cream? She handed him back the paper and went searching for it.
