Emotional Spectrum Project [COMPLETED 6.22.10]

So some people were here today and experience the birth of this little art project. I have decided, because I’m home for the summer and have nothing better to do, that I am going to sort ALL ACTIVE CHARACTERS ---that’s right, all of them--- on the emotional spectrum. Basically, each color in the visible spectrum is assigned and emotion (clickey deh linkeys):

Now if you read that little wiki, you’ll notice that many of those “colors” are awfully special, particularly Yellow (which is the ability to instill fear).

Anyway, blahblahblah inspiration. I’m making these 150x400 banners of each character with the color scheme of the emotion I decided to put them in. Want your character excluded? Holler. Otherwise, you get a surprise when I post up your character’s Banner!
Here are the ones that are done so far:



Some are more done with others. I’m still experimenting. Some have names, some don’t. Some have backgrounds. Some don’t! Eventually I plan to stick them all together in one smooth spectrum, something like this:







SO it should be interesting. Hopefully not too many newbies come along before I can finish ;D

UPDATE June 9:

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you like them so far! :3 Right now, my goal is to get up two complete spectrums a week...Which means fourteen banners a week. So far, so good!

Today I posted LC in Rage, Alice and Morgan in Hope, and Clarisse in love.

ALSO~ I posted Jesse in Fear (which completes the fear column, so far @.@), Emma in Avarice, and Emby in Will!

And intellectually I know that because you told me so and because I know the color spectrum. However, it looks pink to me, as that's how I absorb colors.

UPDATE: June 10

So these are way fun. Since I filled my spectrum quota for the week, I've just sort of been making the banners as pictures of the Play-bys come along. Unfortunately, the further along in this project I get, the more I realize I may have misplaced some characters.

For instance: In this installment I posted Jake in Avarice, as well as Akira and Xion in Compassion. Not sure how I feel about those choices...what do you think? Suggestions are welcome! :3

And I don't know what to think about colors anymore; I'll just trust your diagnosis. But on that same color, I think Moe looks adorable.

UPDATE: June 13

So I've been lazy the past few days, with only two banners to show so far for my work, but there are still two hours left in the 13th! Maybe I can get in a few more?

So far today: Sammy and Mason, both in Avarice.

I've decided to change the way I've been going about it, so don't expect to see any more complete spectrums until the final huge one comes out. Since the sorting is all uneven, it isn't really practical. :[ I've been knocking out the banners as I find fit based on coming across great pictures of the PBs. :3

EDIT: Can you feel the love? After a serious hunt, I managed to start all of the banners for the VIOLET section of the spectrum. Having posted Elena, Rima, and Aisha there today, expect Kiyomi, Gloria, and Rose there tomorrow.

Update-June 14 (To avoid double posting)

As promised, Kiyomi, Gloria, and Rose have just been posted in VIOLET. These banners round out the Love section of the spectrum from the first sorting. So its on to Compassion.

UPDATE- June 16

So...Today marks the day that I go absolutely insane. I was making banners like a good girl today when I realized I had made FOUR...count 'em...FOUR in the WRONG color. So here you go! The mistakenly colorized banners for Summer, Krystal,Brilliance, and Camelia.
