Sakhmet obligingly perched herself on the edge of her bed, crossing her ankles.

"Oh, gosh, isn't it nice? I love that mattress, it's soooo luxurious." She agreed with a laugh. "And the duvet is super comfy, I never want to get out of bed in the morning."

That wasn't strictly true; she enjoyed having breakfast ready for her brothers, which meant she had to be up and out of bed well before the rest of the household.

She supposed that someone who couldn't even afford house payments was probably not able to afford a nice mattress. That was unfortunate, everyone should have the chance to sleep on a comfy mattress.

"Omigod, you look awful tired." She commented, watching the older woman yawn. "You don't have to eat it all if you''d rather sleep."

Delilah felt bad about not being able to eat the food Sakhmet had prepared for her, but her body was just way too tired to go any further. Delilah had been stressed for far too long and her body wasn't going to take much more abuse in any direction. She needed time to just be still and heal. She had had a good hot shower and Sakhmet had cleaned up her wounds and given her nice clean clothes to wear as well. Now the bed she laid on was so soft and inviting, not to mention the angelic feel Sakhmet gave off, just made her want to sleep forever. Delilah realized though, that she would have to force herself up and find out where Sakhmet preferred her to sleep. She wouldn't take Sakhmet's bed, unless willingly invited in of course. So with a lot of effort, Delilah pushed herself up off the bed and sat up, her eyes closed and her muscles relaxing more and more by the second.

"I'll be glad to help you clean everything up in the morning," Delilah said sleepily, figuring it was the least she could do to repay Sakhmet for her kindness for now. "I don't want to be some sponge and I won't take no for an answer," she said, trying to smile and stay awake at the same time. With another yawn, Delilah forced her eyes open and looked around the room. "Where do you want me to sleep?," she asked, not expecting anything special, but still happy just to have somewhere dry to stay tonight. Delilah couldn't risk going back to the old building where she had been squatting and didn't want to risk taking her car out of storage just yet.
