POWERSWAP: The Bliss - tags Cameron

Words were coming from Cameron but Chester was way too preoccupied with the state of his mind to actually concentrate properly on them. He blinked as he tried to concentrate on at least hearing the vacuum downstairs.

But nothing.

He turned to Cameron and was blasted by things all at once in the form of the look on Cameron's eyes and his words.

"S...what?" Chester blurted out before shaking his head, trying to finally process what the blond had just said. The allusion behind the words hit him hard, coupled by the look on Cameron's face and Chester panicked for a bit. Did they...?

He couldn't even be too sure. His powers weren't working.

And then realisation dawned on him that Cameron was still in bed with him. With a smile on his face, and curling up against him.

And his powers. weren't. working.

"Cam...think of a number."

Chester's eyes fell close at the pat before snorting softly and refrained from leaning into it. "Maybe. It won't explain why I remember everything though." He laughed a little before grinning with affection at Cameron's confusion at his question.

When Cameron chose a number, Chester looked at the blonde and grinned. "Other than that, you perv." Ignoring the pain that was slowly getting sharper and sharper, Chester dove on top of Cameron and started tickling him mercilessly.

"Cam. You really shouldn't lie though. You know better than I do that if anything happened between us, one of us would probably be dead. Or wishing we were dead." He said, meaning to sound scathingly sarcastic but coming out rather hopeless and pathetic.

Snorting at Cameron's reply, Chester reveled in the blonde's face as it turned puce, holding back his laughter. "I am not heavy!" Chester leaped off Cameron, mildly offended. "I'm muscular." The telepath...or used to be telepath huffed.

But the act didn't last long as Cameron disappeared under the bed and Chester peeked down. "Cammy. Here boy, come on Cammy. Come on out of bed Cammy baby. Come on. Come on!" Chester tried out his disgusting baby voice complete with kissy faces.

"And yes. I do." He responded to Cameron's question. "I need to try something out. Just think of a proper number that has nothing to do with a sex position."

Chester stared at Cameron for a whole minute, trying to decipher whether or not the confusion was caused by the inebriated haze or because the words that were coming out of the blonde's mouth was an echo to Chester's thoughts. Like the light manipulator was the telepath.

The confusion was broken when the hair ruffle commenced and everything went back to...normal. It was ridiculous how easy it was for Cameron to make Chester feel much younger than he actually was. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing. It just made him feel like doing things like snuggling up to Cameron was such a natural thing to do. Now that...that was potentially bad.

"People would kill to be under me like this, Cam. You're wasting this golden opportunity." Chester's head lolled downwards as he reached one hand down to draw lazy eights on his carpet. The slap dropped Chester to the floor with its' sheer surprise. He glared at Cameron before scuttling under the bed beside him.

The condition to guessing it wrong made Chester pray for his powers to actually be gone. "Okay." He nodded, getting more comfortable under the bed. He tried to clear his mind and concentrate on Cameron and his thoughts but nothing happened. He could only hear their breath and the clink of the metal bars of the bed as he hit them with his fingernails.

A slow smile spread across his lips and he sighed softly. "Twenty-three." Chester turned to Cameron expectantly. Please be wrong, please be wrong, please be wrong.

"No. Temporary blindness." Chester shrugged.

"Gorgeous, I wouldn't want you to jack off in front of me as I regale you with my sexploitations." The cad chuckled.

Something about their position under the bed reminded Chester of how intimate a situation he had put himself in. They were in far too close proximity to each other and even the slightest movement on either of their ends would cause much discomfort.

Well, not for Chester.

The fact that Cameron asked him to stop made Chester do it more.

Cameron's tickling made Chester leap up, his head banging against the underside of the bed. "Fuck, Cam." He burst out laughing as he rubbed at the sore spot on his forehead.

Turning to Cameron, Chester's heart leapt before he realised Cameron probably wasn't referring to his lips. But damn it they were so close right now. How could he waste this opportunity? Something he'd wanted ever since they had their first sleepover three years ago. He leaned in, intending to just give into his desires.

...but pushed his fist gently against Cameron's soft cheek, grazing the skin with his knuckle.

"Dude, my powers. They're gone." He announced, sliding out from under the bed and pulling Cameron with him. "We need to go to Disneyland again so I can enjoy the rides without vomitting and nosebleeding all over the place!" He yelled.

"Don't be crass." Chester tutted. Never mind he was worst just two seconds ago.

The feeling Cameron had about hiding from people also befell Chester at one point during the stay under the bed. It really was pretty cozy. Especially with Cameron's warm body next to him.

"I do," was at the tip of Chester's tongue but he sighed softly, adopting a haughty laugh in response to the jab. "No, Cameron. You wish." He retaliated. There was just no possible way, to Chester, that Cameron could ever want to do anything beyond hanging out with Chester. It was inconceivable.

He didn't even see Cameron's reaction to the brushoff as he pulled him out from under the bed. The blond's whining was ignored as Chester tugged even harder to get him out. "Screw you, Osiris." He laughed at the jibe. "Now come the fuck out and let's go to Disneyland! I'll ask Alex to get Luke to ready the jet. I'm showering." He let go of Cameron's leg and shed his clothes in front of the blond with no shame.
