Fay was meeting up with an old friend. In her sophomore year, she was secretly seeing Sean Neville because of her depression and suicidal thoughts. She clasped the wooden heart around her neck and grabbed her wallet. She made sure it had photo I.D. More than once she had been denied a drink because she couldn’t prove she was over twenty one. Her blonde hair was pulled up into a bun and bangs hung down.
She was excited to see her old friend. After he had helped in his time of need, she had still come back to him to talk about things, her father’s death, and friends, anything that came to mind. They became good friends. When she had gotten back into town, she had called him up and made plans though those plans were moved constantly because of both of their jobs. Finally, on a Friday night, they both were free. She knew the boots would kill her feet, but they looked so killer with the dress. She grabbed her purse, shoved her wallet within and walked to the bar.
Fay entered and ordered a wine cooler. She had to show I.D. just like she thought she would. She opened the book she had brought with her and started reading. The main character was finally confessed her undying love to the dying boy; it made her almost tear up. She took a drink of her alcohol and turned to watch the dancing scene. The lights were hypnotic and the song had an amazing beat to it. She had two left feet when it came to dancing but as long she swayed in her chair, she didn’t have to worry about knocking about people and tables.
