Girls Are Pretty.... (Callie, Cam)

It was decided long ago that their door should just remain unlocked. The three of them as a whole had too many, ahem, friends, coming and going that it was just easier to keep it open. That, and Cam was especially lazy.

And to think, he just wanted to cuddle as he made his way down the hall to Callie’s room from the bathroom. But it seemed like someone had already beaten him to it. There was no mistaking those wings, that long brown hair. Callie spoke her name before he could, and she also managed to fall to the ground without gaining a reaction from Cam.

“I don’t think she’s okay,” he said, crouching down next to Ravyn, opposite Callie. He was in his pajamas, consisting of superhero fleece pajama shorts, and no shirt. “Actually, I think she’s drunk,” he said, judging by the smell. Then he gave a low whistle. “And what’s this?” He asked, holding her hand and inspecting the ring, his face breaking into a wide smile. Ravyn had had quite the night it seemed.

Callie tilted her head slightly, confused when she started talking about her room. "Uhh..." She began, wanting to point out that she lived down the hall. But Cam arrived thankfully, so at least she wouldn't be at this alone.

"Drunk? What?" She looked up at him, the smell finally hitting her nose. Yeah, she was definitely drunk. Try as he might, there had been many times where she had found Eric after he'd been drinking, and she'd looked after him until he was asleep. She looked as he lifted her hand slightly. An engagement ring? "Wow..." The word frll from her mouth quietly. Where had she been and what had she been doing?

"You're in our room," Callie replied, looking to Cam briefly before back to her, "And you're really lucky that Polly sleeps like a log."

Ravyn was looking at her really strangely all of a sudden. She couldn't really explain the look in her eye, but it changed so quickly that she wasn't really sure what it meant. "Thanks Ravyn." She replied, trying to be her bright self despite how tired she was. She looked back to Cam and raised her eyebrows, grinning as her teeth sunk into her bottom lip. Ha, she was prettier! She had to stop herself from laughing because it was still a little funny despite the possible seriousness of what was going on.

"Marrying Noah?" Callie asked. Josh's friend? Did that mean that he was with her or something? She would have to message Josh to check once she got back to her phone. "Maybe we should try getting up off the floor?" Calliope asked, moving both her hands so she was holding one of her arms. If Cam did the same maybe they'd be able to get her back up to her feet.

"Your room?" Ravyn repeated, blinking around. Huh, it did look vaguely familiar. probably because she had slipped through here more than once in the dark before. Only then, she hadn't been drunk out of her mind. "How th' hell did I end up here?" she laughed.

"Dun worry Cammers, you're still pretty too," she assured him, grinning in his direction. "But Callie, Callie, you're like.... Wow." The word popped into her head - what had Noah been talking about? Her eyes or something? She couldn't really remember now. But wow seemed appropriate.

"Whoaaaaa," she groaned as they propped her up. The world spun before her, and she closed her eyes, hoping it would go away soon. "Tha' wasn't pleasant," she mumbled. She tried to process Cameron's question. Was she dating someone? Was it a trick question. "Uuum," she hummed, trying to sort through her sluggish thoughts. ".... I can't rememberrrr. But it doesn't matter, 'cause we're gettin' married anywaaaaay." A flicker of a dark-haired boy went through her head, but she couldn't grasp what it meant. Huh.

She was leaning heavily on both of them, although fortunately, her weight wasn't really too much to deal with anyway. "Need t'sit," she mumbled. Her legs felt very weak underneath her, and she was afraid she wouldn't be able to hold herself up much longer, even with their help. Her wings began to flare out automatically, in case she needed them for balance.

Drunk people also said the dumbest things. Just saying. Still, Cam laughed in spite of himself, though there was no light in his eyes. This was just all around sad. He felt sorry for whoever she was dating now, felt sorry even for Noah. What the hell was going on with Ravyn anyway? None of this was his place to ask, so he just helped prop her up so gravity wouldn’t get the best of her again.

A good way of snapping back to reality was getting hit in the face full on by Ravyn’s wing. “Oh shit!” Cam said none too quietly, holding his precious cheek. “Tryin’ to be hospitable here,” he said, an arm around Ravyn’s waist as he and Callie tried to maneuver the drunkard to their couch. This was going to be a long night. “I’ll go get a garbage pail or something,” Cam said.

He left the two of them alone to go back into the bathroom for the garbage. He’d better empty it out before Ravyn needed to empty her guts into it.

"Shit!" Callie called out in tandem with Cam. She'd managed to straight up dodge a wing-hit, but he didn't. She craned her back so she could look over and check up on him. It was probably smart that he walked away; he was obviously annoyed and finding it hard to keep that inside. Which, y'know, he was within his rights to be annoyed anyway, so she wasn't upset by it. She dropped Ravyn on the couch and stood there for a second or two. Her hand slipped under the hem of her tank top and she idly scratched at her stomach, yawning.

"Yeah, okay." Callie replied, falling into the seat beside her. She instantly slid her arm around the other girl, drawing her inward and massaging the muscles of the back of her neck. "I'll check with Josh a little later; he might have gone to his room or something." She explained. When she could get to her phone, that was. Or maybe she'd ask Cam when he came back. "Where'd you go, anyway?"

Ravyn let out a soft sigh as Callie sat next to her and started rubbing her neck. "Ohgod, that feels amaaaazing~" she murmured. And yay! She would check up on Noah! "I love him," she explained, as though that solved everything. In reality, it was sort of out of context. She glanced up as Cam came back, nodding at his statement. "Okie dokie artichokie~!"

Wait.... Did he mean vomit? Eeeew. She had no plans of throwing up. Not that she really would have much choice....

She thought for a moment, trying to sort through her fuzzy thoughts and remember what had happened. "Uuuuum. There was a party at U of V, aaaaand we snuck in!" Yes! She remembered! "An' we danced, an' drank some horrible stuff, and we... We did shots!" She beamed up at them. "And I was reallyreally good at it." Hadn't she been? It was sort of vague. But she could still taste the smoky flavor on her breath. Ick. "An' then we made out an' stuff, and...." Her eyes brightened. "ERIC! Eric showed up an' brought us backkk. Your brother's awesome, Cal." She giggled. "And handsome too. But not pretty like yooou," she was repeating herself, but she really felt like she had to get this point across. Without warning, she leaned forward and kissed Callie straight on the lips, uncaring about Cam being there or what the consequences would be. It was what she wanted to do, so she did it.
