Julia smiled walking into the the small coffee shop she stopped just inside the door letting a small gasp she glanced around at the busy shop '' What the...'' she shook her hand her watch strap which was loose and she started to wriggle it around so she could look at the time she would have to get a few links taken out of her fathers watch seeing that that said 2pm she couldnt understand why it was so busy '' havent these people got jobs '' she mumbled with a small smile as she joined the very long que knowing that she was playing hookie herself she felt slightly guilty but she had her laptop with her so she could work if she wanted but she knew deep down that she wouldnt.
Letting out a soft sigh Julia moved her hand up to her hair unclipping the few hair grips that where keeping her wavy strands out of her face she then moved to undo her pony tail letting out a small groan as she instantly felt better as it fell around her face she flicked her hair lightly over her shoulder before she shuffled forward in the que moving being bumped by someone behind her she let out a small tut her the swinging her bag onto her shoulder a little surprised at how heavy it was but then she realised it had her laptop and various folders in it for work which she was sure that she wouldnt be able to get through even when she went home she just wasnt sure why she couldnt focus she just hoped the change of scene helped.
ln the distance she saw the counter where all the people who where needed there caffine fix seemed to be crowded around waiting lightly tapping their fingers on any surface they could find there seemed to be a new staff member causing the dely but she didnt mind she didnt have to pick Rachel up till later since she was seeing her father finally after waiting 15 minutes she ordered her coffee that warm liquid that would give her a lovely buzz '' Oo'' she smiled seeing a rather nice piece of chocolate cake well she had been jogging more recently so once she quickly ordered the cake to fumbling around in her bag she fished out at her purse why was it always at the bottom of her bag shaking her head a little she paid being told her coffee and cake being told it would be brought over to her
As she turned to look around she saw a table by the window it was the perfect spot she moved quickly to it smiling at the couple who where leaving hand in hand '' eww'' she mumbled to herself before smiling as she sat down slowly moving her bag feeling a little jealous she adjusted her shirt slightly crossing her long legs tucked under the table the heel of her shoe touching at the base of the table she glanced around listening to the buzzing of the place watching the people who where going about there every day lives zoning out for a few seconds she was disturbed by the counter girl placing down her coffee and cake Julia smiled thanking her instantly her fingers wrapped around the hot cup knowing it would be too hot to drink she turned to glance out of the window just watching the day going by her head bobbing slightly to the soft tones of music playing.
