What I've Done (Sean)

Walking back through the halls of Hammel, Jesse felt oddly out of place. This was the school he’d run away from almost two years ago. As such, his re-admission would be achieved under heavy warnings and probation. He wasn’t allowed to leave school grounds, for a start. Not to mention, he was starting mandatory sessions with Dr. Neville, the length and frequency to be determined by Sean himself. Jesse had accepted all of this with a remarkably amicable attitude. He knew he would be facing at least something like this. Honestly, he could have been turned away.
Before he was even entering into his classes, he was to see Dr. Neville. The blond was all right with this, because deep down, he knew it was part of the reason he’d even tried to get back into the meta school in the first place. He needed help with a lot of things, and none of them were things he could deal with on his own. He’d figured that out.
Sean honestly might need a solid week just to cover everything.
He was apprehensive about the meeting, mostly because of how their last one had ended. That was moments before he’d run away to the compound. To Gabriel. Sure, he was older now. More mature. Less likely to bite the hand offering help.
Not that he really deserved help. Not after what he’d done. Not only had he caused significant damage to Horus Richmond’s mental state, but he’d helped with a devastating battle between MSAD and Hammel. Hell, he’d nearly killed a teacher. He’d nearly been killed by one himself. He still bore the scar from the gunshot, never letting Max heal it beyond the ugly pink scar.
None of that mattered right now, though. He was supposed to meet with Sean before he was even allowed to set foot in a classroom, and that was what he was going to do. He hadn’t even dressed like a punk, in an effort to show that he’d changed. He wasn’t the lithe creature that had run away from Hammel. He was stronger, more solid now. He was actually starting to resemble an adult.
Now if only he could act like one.
He paused by the door to the office, taking a slow, deep breath before knocking. His stomach was already twisted in knots, and he had no idea what to expect. All he could hope was that Sean deemed him ready to re-enter Hammel as a student once again.
