Lily has the ability to walk into another person’s dream and in that way tag their dreams within her mind meaning that if she did it once she’ll be able to find them again but this can only happen in a one mile radius of where she is.

Lily can, when in a dream, more or less alternate the world around her slightly. It takes a hell of a lot of energy for her to do that and it will leave her with a head ache in the morning but if it’s worth it, she’ll completely do it.

Lily’s dreamwalking happens accidentally sometimes and when she dream walks she won’t have been able to sleep as she needs to be half awake for this to happen. This is mainly why she’s so clutsy and brain cluttered. Due to lack of sleep.

When Lily dreamwalks, it’s hard for her to get out of the dream and she’s in more danger within the dream since if she gets hurt or stuck in the astral plane and she can’t get back to her body, she’ll need a telepath or another astral projector to help her out. Not that that has ever happened and hopefully won’t happen.

To be able to get a peaceful night’s sleep, Lily needs to be put in an unnatural sleep so medication has always been called upon every third night. Sometimes though, Lily can fight off slipping into a dream walking session but it’s hard for her and she needs a lot more practice.

General Appearance:

Lily has flowing auburn hair framing her rather delicate features. Most people say she looks like a fairy though she could never be such being so clumsy. She doesn’t often dress like one either preferring tight jeans and tight tops like most teenage girls.

Lily had dark brown eyes and strikingly beautiful thick lashes. Her nose is straight and her face is full of innocent beauty that matched her voice. Her soft smile might make you think she’s innocent but don’t get her flustered. Something might shatter.

As much as Lily tries to be invisible, she’s not. She stands out completely because of her voice, her Italian features and the often too pale skin across her body. She doesn’t often get much chance to sleep with her powers so she’s always got dark circles under her eyes.

Most of the time, Lily simply looks ill and rough and people are often concerned about her but she’s found a great way to fight back the dream walking at least.

Personality:
Lily is sorta soft spoken, despite the fact that she can sing to wow a whole room of a hundred odd people. She likes to keep to herself when among strangers where she feels less confident about everything. Lily has a thought in her head to be quiet when she thinks she has nothing important to add to the conversation.

This happens more often than not which is why she’s quite a quiet person to have around. Lily is a smart girl and always has her nose stuck in a book but her interest lies in general knowledge rather than fiction. She is a dreamer though and if left to her own devices will more than likely disappear into a world of her own.

Lily isn’t good with the idea of fighting but will try and be a mediator if she’s called upon to do so. She also has a nasty habit of getting incredibly flustered at times which is why people around her are safer with some kind of way of guarding themselves from practically anything that can go wrong.

Lily is a hopeless romantic and will easily swoon when someone becomes charming around her. She’s a girl that knows what she wants and won’t settle for second best.

Likes:

• Oregano
  
  Everything tastes better with Oregano in it, unless you spill the whole bottle in you spaghetti bolognaise. Yes, that has happened to her before and she decided that after that she should not be allowed in a kitchen unsupervised.
  
  
• Romance
  
  Romance, the moon, the stars, flowers, the silence, laughter and talking all equals a good date. She obviously doesn’t have to be on a date to notice romance in the air. Lily has been caught staring at romantic couples when she’s off in dream land.
  
  
• Roses
  
  Red, white… hell, those multi colored roses they dip in colored water for a few days. She loves the smell, the look and the touch of roses. If you want her to pay attention, give her a rose. She’s more than likely to go and buy her own.
  
  
• The Theatre
  
  Since she arrived in America, she’s been introduced to the theatre by other people who talk of Wicked, Cats and of course, The Phantom of the Opera. The one closest to her heart is the latter as it does remind her of her mom a lot. She wants badly to have a trip to New York to see a musical of some sort.
  
  
• The Plumb
  
  The band Plumb. She actually heard one of their songs in the airport when she landed, recorded it on her phone and played it to the first friendly face she saw at Hammel asking about the band.
  
  

Dislikes:

• Rap
  
  She considers this as a total waste of time for the whole music industry. She thinks it’s stupid and annoying so she’d never actually listen to it or be argued with that it’s music. She just doesn’t think it is and she’s stubborn on that point.
  
  
  
• Ketchup
  
  She doesn’t understand why American’s and British people have to smother their food in sauce especially ketchup. It’s all just sugar to her and she doesn’t understand that it can make a bland French fry taste super fantastic.
  
  
• Fast food
  
  Not many European people like Fast Food unless it’s an emergency. She sees it as a fail in cooking. She doesn’t do dinners at MacDonalds or KFC. She prefers home cooking or proper made food instead of heated stuff. Being in the restaurant business most of her life, it figures.
  
  
• Obnoxious people
  
  People with big egos who think they know it all or own it all will most likely get Lily to give them a piece of her mind in the end and she’ll not at all feel bad about it.
  
  
• Swearing
  
  Catholic girl growing up in a Catholic family she hates swearing or even saying horrible things about other people. She can’t stand it and will try to set an example and not do it herself.
  

Strengths:

• Peacemaker
  
  This is why she’s a good friend to have. Because she can make other people calm down or come to a conclusion during a fight or something along those lines.
  
  
• Singing
  
  Lily is an amazing singer and that is her real talent. She’ll simply start singing in the middle of the street before she realizes it because she was brought up with the idea that it’s perfectly normal to do that.
  
  
• Intelligence
  
  Common sense and knowledge is what Lily is best at. She happens to be a whole fountain of general knowledge, now if only she’d be brave enough to actually do half of the things she says, herself…
  
  
• Beliefs
  
  Her upbringing being Christian, she’s a clean good hearted girl which is what makes her such a kind heart. She does have the ability to believed in a lot of things she’s been told whether the proof is there or not which makes many people want to protect her.
  
  
• Calm nature
  
  Of course she’ll get flustered at times but most of the time she’s calm and tranquil. Especially when she’s in a day dream of her very own and she’s often dopey during those times.
  

Weaknesses:

• Being clumsy
  
  Lily gets flustered about things very easily and this can lead her to be accident prone. She can become a walking disaster zone if she’s flustered.
  
  
• Being tired all the time.
  
  Her powers keep her up most nights so it’s natural that she often is tired during the day. She can’t take sleeping tablets all the time and she does find it hard to control her powers most of the time.
  
  
• Music
  
  Make Lily mad of have a fall out with her and all you’ll have to do is play her one of her favourite songs and you’ll be in her good books again. It’s that easy cause she’s totally weak for music.
  
  
• Romance
  
  Lily comes from Italy where Romance is alive and flowers bloom in the darkness and women swoon and men woe. Naturally she’s gonna go ‘awww –sigh-‘ when she sees it.
  
  
• Fights
  
  Lily’s not a fighter. Start one with her and she’ll hiccup and spit and faint eventually cause she can’t fight and the fact that someone would wanna fight with her is just beyond her.
  

Fears:

• Dogs
  
  She’s actually scared of them. They bark, they have teeth and she doesn’t do well with them. She’ll actually run away from one or scream when she sees one. She never understood that this makes a dog more violent towards her.
  
  
• Airplane crashes
  
  She’s a nervous flier but then most people are. She used to fly a lot when she was in Europe but the last time she flew was when she came to America and to Hammel. She’s frightened of having the plane crash.
  
  
• Darkness
  
  She feels cluster phobic in the dark. Like the world just closed in on her or something. It can leave her jittery and uncertain about everything.
  
  
• Being made a fool of
  
  It’s a constant fear she lives with in her day to day life. Being accident prone, this fear constantly creeps up on her and she constantly feels like a fool.
  
  
• Saying stupid things.
  
  She’d rather be quiet and say nothing at all them say something and be seen as an idiot. She does enough of that when she’s all accident prone.

Rosanna went into labour at two am in the morning causing Pietro to tumble out of bed but Delilah Grande didn’t make her appearance until twelf pm that afternoon. After that, who’d want another child? That being the case, Lily was the only child for the Italian couple and she was adored by the rest of her family.

She was treated like a little princess but there was something that Pietro was waiting for, praying for. Her Father was a meta-human and had decended from a family line of metas with different abilities pertaining to the human mind.

Pietro was sure his little girl would have the same sorta powers. Rosanna, being a Opera singer at the most famous Opera house in Naples, had to take time out to look after her little girl which might have been for the best since her family were already fighting over her little one.

Despite the fighting, Lily grew up in a family where she was loved and during the time when Rosanna was free and her little girl was sleeping at night, she’d sing for Grande’s Pizza Palacio, a family restaurant the Grande’s had held in their family for years.

The Grande Palacio grew famous in the time that Rosanna sang there and as Lily grew she learned the power that a voice could have. It soon became apparent that the auburn haired girl could sing and at the age of six she was already singing while she was coloring or playing with her dolls.

Not the gift Pietro had wanted but he was grateful that they had another gifted singer in the family. Lily had to turn 12 when her powers finally started kicking in. She’d found herself in her father’s dream when he was dreaming of the future and Kocher with Lily there instead of himself.

He knew at that point that his little girl did get the Grande Meta Gene. It had taken him hours to get the young female to stop crying. He hoped that Kocher knew what they got themselves into when they arrived at the restaurant the next week to come and collect her.

Pietro made up a lie to his family telling them that Lily had been accepted into an elite school. It was well known that Grande girls went to good catholic schools and got private tutoring so it was an exceptional cover story, especially since Lily had spent her younger years in a catholic school for girls near Naples.

Lily was taken, the following day, to the place her father had been. Kocher. The first months were pretty traumatic for her. Her powers were all over the place. The cold in the air kept reminding her that she was far from home and the people didn’t speak like they did back home.

Generally her English improved a great deal and Lily did come to love Kocher, the students, the teachers who aided her with her powers, her fears. At the age of 14, she met and fell in love with a boy called Henrich but that didn’t last very long.

Lily found herself walking walking straight into another girl’s dream when she was midway through fifteen. Stacy had been overlooked for a long time, having come from Australia until Lily walked into her dreams and saw the girl for the very first time it seemed.

Stacy and Lily became the closest of friends within a couple of months and then Stacy kissed Lily. At first Lily tried to ignore what she felt but after a while it became apparent that she was really attracted to Stacy and their secret relationship blossomed from there.

Things became messy when Henrich found them together. A rumor spread. Lily had to do something about it so she asked to be transferred for a while. Do a year in America, or two. At the age of sixteen she was about to fly across the continent to experience life on the other side of the world.

She found that she could apply to Kocher through Hammel and with her family’s permission, she set off for America right after the summer holidays.
