Eye Color: Hazel-green

Any Tattoos? A firework on her right shoulder blade
Any Scars? Other than sometimes blackened hands, nothing in particular
General Appearance:
Though naturally brown-haired, Charlie chooses to dye her hair blonde, though she occasionally lets the roots grown out a bit until she grows tired of them and bleaches them again. She has greenish-brown eyes, a color she calls "swampy", although there's always a sparkle in her gaze. She has high cheekbones and a narrow chin that's slightly balanced out by a full-lipped mouth and broad nose. Her skin is lightly tanned, though she often wears a bronzer to make it appear even more so. As for make-up, she usually goes with a bright eyeshadow (or pale, if she's feeling more conserved), eyeliner, lip gloss, and plenty of mascara. She likes to look girly.
She's a curvy girl, standing at 5'4" and weight in at around 130 lbs. She has ample hips and a generous chest, with a nipped-in middle, giving her a nice hourglass shape that she shows off with form-fitting shirts and jeans. She hardly ever wears skirts or dresses, but when she does, they're usually short and tight. She thinks her biggest asset is her smile, which she uses often, along with lots of fluttering lashes.
Personality:
Loud, rebellious, flirtatious, friendly - any of those words would be good descriptions of Charlie. Let's start with the first. Charlie is unafraid to speak her mind, no matter the issue or who she's speaking to - if she has an opinion, she will let you know, often in a loud manner. She's not afraid of being offensive, and this has often led to many disagreements and loss of friendships. Anyone that wants to be friends with Charlie must be willing to put up with her opinions. Not necessarily agree with them, but agree to disagree.
One of Charlie's favorite pastimes is to watch things burn. Now, that doesn't mean she goes and sets things on fire haphazardly all over town; she's rebellious, but tries not to break the law... Too much. But she does find pleasure in setting off fireworks (either from her hands or actually buying them), as well as lighting candles, fireplaces... She thinks she must get it from her mother, who was a pyrokinetic. She enjoys late-night excursions into the wild to set off firecrackers with friends, just to watch them burst in the sky. She seems to always manage to drag all of her friends on one of these adventures at least once; she can be very persuading when it comes to adventuring.
Charlie is a major flirt. Guys, girls, young, old, fat, skinny - it doesn't matter. If you are over the age of eighteen, she will most likely at least throw one or two winks your way. If she finds out you aren't legal, she'll tone it down. Unless you are really cute. She just won't pursue you. She's quite promiscuous, and definitely gets around a lot. She's doesn't like to think of herself as easy - she likes to think of it as harmless fun, as long as no one gets hurt. So far, she has managed to keep this sort of lifestyle mostly pain-free, and she doesn't plan on changing anytime soon.
As loud and obnoxious as she can be, she really does have people's best interests at heart.... Usually. She loves to help people and give advice (not always the best advice, mind you), and always has an extra donut or two on hand to give away to those in need. She likes making friends, and is always cheerful and willing to help at The Holey Land, the specialty pastry shop she runs in Pilot Ridge.
Little known to most people, she has a great desire to become an author, and spends many evenings working on her novel, which she hopes to publish sometime soon. It's not very often people will meet this softer side of Charlie, but if you get close enough, she just might let you in.

History
Charlie was born on July 4th in Watford, England, to a pyrokinetic mother and a father that could produce gunpowder in his hands. Life was normal for their meta-human family; she went to school with 'regular' kids, made friends, and just lived as any normal child would. Her parents kept their abilities quiet for the most part, although Charlie still believes they have one of the most sizzling relationships she has ever seen - both emotionally and literally.
Due to job opportunities and family matters, the Saynsberry family moved to the United States (specifically, New York) when Charlie was ten. The move was hard at first, but Charlie grew to love her new home, but managed to hold on to her British roots (and accent) for the most part. Fries were still chips. Cookies were still biscuits.
But one event she totally embraced was the Fourth of July. Not only was it her birthday, but she absolutely adored the fireworks shows that were performed every year; she would find the highest perch she could on that day, and watch fireworks until the sky went dark and the booms stopped completely, sometimes staying up all night.
It was on the night of her thirteenth birthday that her ability manifested. She was sitting on a hill, watching the grand finale of one of the best fireworks shows she had ever seen when she reached her hand out, as if to grasp them out of the sky. As she did so, a burst of bright red light shot out of her index finger, traveling into the sky for a fair distance until it burst into a shower of sparks. She was stunned momentarily, but her astonishment turned to glee almost instantly. She had known that she could possibly get the meta-human gene since both of her parents were metas, but she had no idea here power would be so COOL. Even the joint pain and blackened skin didn't faze her - she was going to go to meta-human school!
Everything happened in a blur - the recruiters came, spoke to her parents, and she was whisked off to Hammel. She spent five years there, graduating at eighteen and going on to find business in the pastry-making world to save up while she wrote her novel. While working at the bakery, she discovered that her hands didn't burn when she picked up a hot pan or tray, which came in handy on many occasions.

Um. Once upon a time, there was no air, which was inconvenient for children. THE END.
