Danny nodded up at Riley and beamed at him. “Yeah, that sounds great! I miss you both. And Sunday is fine.” No temple on Sunday, and he was allowed to work and everything without feeling guilt. Not that he did a lot of work on Sunday, and he definitely didn’t think about hanging out with Riley as work. It was just good to know.
“It sounds lovely!” he chirped, and as Riley looked around, he joined him in doing so. “Well, um. I know Josh. And Sean.” Seeing how much Josh looked like him was a little odd, especially now that Sean was together, but Danny wasn’t the type to think about such things. And he really didn’t want to mention that to Riley, because then he’d have to explain how he knew Sean. And while he might have adored Riley’s blush, he wasn’t going to get it that way. “But we should go say hi to Cobalt! He looks like he’s not doing well. C’mon.” He took Riley’s arm and tugged him over to the others, waving to Cobalt.
“Hey! How is Leila doing?”
He was completely unaware of what had transpired, although he did notice one of the other men leaving. This was Danny after all.
