((OOC: this thread is set May 12th))
Hart had been introduced to Dr. Neville through his friend Chase Campbell, which lead to the realization that the good doctor knew several of his other friends, as well his coworkers. In fact, it seemed that he knew everyone, which was he found remarkable. Granted, Dr. Neville had lived in Pilot Ridge for decades, and he would be a year in June, but it still seemed shocking; he hadn't known that many people when he had lived in North Carolina up until recently, although he supposed it could be said he had many connections when he had lived in Seattle.
But those were just that: Connections. Not friends.
Dr. Neville was a decade older, and far, far moreradical liberal than Hart would ever be, but so long as politics didn't come up they got along quite well. And so he had been quite delighted to take Sean up on his offer to visit and watch baseball. In fact, while they may have been rooting for opposing teams, he didn't think either of them really took baseball scores all that seriously.
He had brought beer, because while he was sure that Dr. Neville had alcohol he was also sure it wouldn't be Sweetwater, and he had brought onion dip and potato chips.
He hoped that would be enough of a host gift to satisfy the older man.
"I hope you're prepared to watch your team suffer." He exclaimed, settling back into the rather comfortable sofa in the Neville den. He was jealous; he and Josef didn't have anything nearly so luxurious in their home. Then again, they were splitting a town home, so they didn't have as much space, and they also had a cat who would surely claw something this nice all to pieces.
