Is It Back? Yes, It's---No, Never Mind (Josef)

Josef always forgot about the internet issues. Truthfully, he wasn't that technically savvy. And when he had other things on his mind--and tonight he certainly did--he tended to forget some of the finickiness of the wireless hub. He forgot to do little things, like...

...give warning when he was using the microwave. Not that remembering ever helped the internet. It had a nasty tendency to turn off all by itself even when neither of them were doing anything. But in this particular case, he was to blame.

"Sorry!" he called back. "That one was my fault. I was heating up dinner." He popped open the microwave to check if it was warm. Well...close enough.

“Normally, this is a good time to eat dinner, yeah.” He couldn’t help chuckling a bit to himself, even though he had to agree with Hart—they really did need to fix this internet situation. “I wouldn’t guarantee that,” he said, “it’s got a knack for staying out. I think you were making oatmeal the other day and I was out for a half-hour.” So he’d done some yoga. It had been very good for his muscles, actually.

“We could try getting another router,” he offered, resting his palms against the counter and leaning against them. “We’re not that in the middle of nowhere. I’ll call them in the morning.”

He glanced down at the meal on his plate, then shrugged his shoulders. “I made lasagna. I think I have enough to share. Grab a plate and I’ll split it. What game are you working?”

Josef’s lips twitched into a grin. “I don’t mind. It just meant I had to get off the computer. There could be a lot worse of things to do. I’m sorry I forgot to mention the microwave to you. That was my bad.”

“Is that the word for it? I thought I was just contributing to your waistline.” He flashed Hart a grin, then split it and put it on the other plate and passing it to him. He was more than happy to do this slight service for Hart. Besides, he’d made the meal earlier and figured this gave him an excuse to cook more later. “Good for the Patriots,” he said. “I didn’t know you were that loyal to a team, Hart.”
