Hooray For Pizza Day (Track team)

Summer may have meant a lack of classes, but many students remained at Hammel. The reasons were many, from unaccepting family to the inability to afford plane tickets home and back. As track was year round it was one way that students could spend their time even when classes were out.
The hot and humid weather, however, meant that actual running wasn't always pleasant during the summer season.
Add on to this the constant influx of new students and the team occasionally grew, which meant that there was a need for social activities to help the students get to know one another.
Hart had decided that the best way to do this was to take over the cafeteria one afternoon, after lunch but before dinner, and host a pizza party.
Attendance wasn't mandatory but it was encouraged; after all, part of the fun of being on a team was the social aspect. Pizza was ordered (one cheese, one pepperoni, and one veggie) along with liters of soda, and plastic plates and paper napkins set out on the tables. No need to make more work for the cafeteria workers than necessary.
