This time, it's different.(Anna)

For the first time she felt safe. As long as she was in cole's arms she was safe. The world couldn't hurt her. How on earth she had gotten to this was a mystery to her. She never tried, she just talked to him. And now she was laying in his arms.

She could hear his heart beat through his chest and it made her feel..warm some how. There was no question about it, she was his. She would fallow where he went and all that les miserables crap. She had never felt this type of happiness. And now that she had, it literally was like a drug. Even if that might be the most cliche metaphor ever, it was true.

She felt his finger move her head so they were looking into each others eyes. His eyes were lit amazingly by the falling balls of flame in the sky and all she could do was look into them. She felt like she could spend the rest of her life looking into those eyes and still not see all there was to see. She knew what she wanted him to do, and she even felt herself moving closer to his face. "You really are amazing, do you know that?" She asked.

"I'm a kessler, sweetheart. It's in my DNA." Whoops Cole let his ego slip out on that one. Alarms went off in his head and he tried to recover as their lips were mere centimeters apart. He wasn't sure how he could recover from the ego slip. He couldn't really find the words to say so he went with, "Thank you. I'm glad you think so."

Then it hit him. The look in her eyes drew him in closer and their lips finally met. In his head, thoughts flashed by as he forgot them all. Right now, in this moment, under the stars with Anna was all he needed.

As their lips met Anna felt a odd swooping movement in her heart. She returned the kiss softly wishing it stay like this the rest of her life.When they finally did break apart she still couldn't take her eyes off him. Her face was growing a little pink and she had this stupid smile on her face. It was official, he had her. She had fallen hard and fast for this guy.

"Wow, my first kiss." She said looking up at him. She couldn't have planed it better in her whole life. As they sat there under the stars, the world at piece, holding each other. And all was quiet….except…her mind. Some where in the deepest corner of her mind she heard alarm bells. She was getting to close. She never trusted any one outside the family, and yet here he was trusting this guy. Why? What proof did she have that he wouldn't stab her in the back. The world was cruel. Why should he be any different? What made her think she could put her faith in him, After she spent so long trusting no one besides her siblings? She didn't have an answer, but even as her brain told her this, she felt herself kiss him again, almost as if to reassure herself . "Sorry." she said blushing more as she broke apart from him.

Cole was surprised. Her first kiss had been him? It didn't really add up, as beautiful as as she was, it surprised him. He was for certain he wasn't the first to have tried, and so brushed the thought from his mind. His passion reflected in her as their lips met once more. Cole couldn't bring himself to do anything more than kiss her. Something about her made this enough for him.

As she broke away again, she apologized for something. Cole ran through what had just happened to figure out why she'd said she was sorry and couldn't find anything, "Don't apologize." He said gently, "There's no need for it, Anna." He wanted to say more, but couldn't find the words. He could've quite easily said he loved her but not yet. Sure, he cared for her alot already, but could he honestly say he loved her already? He couldn't say it just yet, but perhaps with time he could. He didn't want to make the same mistake again.

But right here, right now, he felt something else. This time, I'm not doing anything to mess this up. This time, He said in his head, it's different.
