The Basics
Name: Victoire Fleur Lavergne
Nicknames: Vic, Viccy, Fluzy, Fleur
Age: 25
Orientation: Bisexual (Closeted on the part of other girls)
Desired Rank/Job: Bartender while continuing medical studies
Powers: Sensory projection, the ability to make anyone else feel what you currently do. But no, not in the cry-baby empathy way, the physical way. Yet touch isn't the only sense now is it? That was rhetorical, smart one. Victoire can push all five of her senses on a person. The scents that she is smelling, the sights her eyes are seeing, etc. Complications such as distance and eye contact make it more or less difficult to transfer senses. Side effects include difficulty to maintain seamless conversation, etc, while using said power. Its like doing a math problem, having a conversation and remembering first year biology all at once.
Play By: Avril Lavigne

Any Piercings? Navel (inny), two in her left ear, one in her right
Any Tattoos? Star on underside of right wrist, a '30' and lightning bolt on the outside of her left wrist
Any Scars? Not significant
General Appearance: Victoire stands at around five feet. No, she is not short, she is a really tall midget. Most people have either warm, cold or piercing eyes, but hers are none of the above, they are just eyes. Nothing special to be found here. Her blonde hair gains her stereotypes of stupidity and such, but Victoire quite frankly will just roll her eyes then attempt to use her wit to embarrass you with her brilliance.
Every once and awhile some imbecile will come along and call her a tramp or something of the like due to her piercings and tattoos. C'mon, really guys? First, both of her tattoos are tiny. One is a reminder of her bestfriend's birthday which she happened to forget one year, and the other is a promise to a guy to make a band with him, although she doubts it will fruit. As for her piercings... Well the navel may be for the guys, its true. But it makes her feel hot too. And doesn't everyone have ear piercings?
As for her style... Its different. Special. Victoire loves being unique while being acceptable on the street. She wants people to look twice, not squint. Plus finding and mixing and matching new clothing makes her the talk of the town.
Personality: Usually Victoire is a pretty average person. She loves to have fun, date around (while still maintaining a decent reputation), although she is looking for a special someone, and understands the need for education and finer things in life. She is a straight-shooter, never worried to call someone out on a bluff, although she could be called a hypocrite since Victoire herself can't handle hard truths about herself. Although the truth is that she would deny that. And then she would deny that. And then...
Often she believes she knows the what the best is for everyone. If she thinks a certain treatment is right for you, that is what you get, and no, there are no side effects if you're wondering. Ignore the fine print on the pill bottle. The only people she finds it difficult to tell her 'truth' to are ironically the people she loves, which includes only herself, her younger sister and her father right now. A catch is that she sometimes has a complex, wondering if she is more important or another person, if she should lie for her benefit, or lie for theirs.
Expression is a large part of her. Her music is loud and slightly obnoxious, punk rock. It likely stems from her original desire to rebel from her dad's closed life and become more 'free.' Victoire always felt her dad was holding her back, forcing her to stay behind to take care of mother or something else equally banal. Her art always follows a theme, meaning or promise. So far all of her tattoos are shared with someone else.
The crash. Sometimes Victoire feels like an economic cycle. See, she has Huntington's, or at least has a fifty percent chance of having it. She has seen the course of the disease through her mother. First come the mental effects that you personally rarely notice. Then the shakiness of limbs. Then... It doesn't matter, she is still too young for this... But anytime Victoire experiences one of these effects, or thinks she does, she has a tendency of going into a temporary depression cycle. First she becomes irritable, then that night she goes the bar. Gets trashed, likely getting drugged also, sometimes drugging herself. Hooks up. Wakes up the next morning feeling like crap, then she realizes she has Huntington's, which causes the cycle to continue until it is interrupted by either a loved one or a stern warning from her boss. She is terrified that one of these 'crashes' will kill her from overdose, or she will get fired or arrested. Not knowing if she even has Huntington's also drives her insane but so far she has convinced herself not knowing is better than a possible positive.
Oh and Victoire would also want her sister to know she feels terrible for abandoning her. But she believes she had to. And refuses to say anything to Cleo. It wouldn't matter.
Your Vices
Likes: Hanging out with a younger crowd - Hey, they're the ones with life. All the girls with ancient boyfriends are crazy.
Her electric guitar - A gift picked out by her mother, much to her father's displeasure but her absolute joy.
Shopping for other people - Kind of likes having life-size barbies
Soccer - Favorite sport
Dislikes: Staying still - Boring
Most classical instruments - They make her feel suffocated
French - She has anti-Frenchie-syndrom. Common in Canada anywhere west of Quebec.
People with hidden agendas - It doesn't bug her that you only want sex, or a raise at her expense, but she may call you out on it if you try to hide it.
Strengths: Learning to play odd or 'rebellious' instruments - Queer native music makers make her eyes light up, and her drums and electric guitar are a large part of her life.
Organization - Others may do as they please
Her fashion sense - In her opinion
Usually open-minded - Victoire can accept most ideas as they come
Lying for other's benefit - If she believes lying to you will help you, she shall.
Body art - You know that stuff where people paint their bodies? Sometimes nude? That is kind of what she does.
Weaknesses: Her French - When you take into account that she was brought up in a French home and a French school. She can speak it fairly well, but don't ask her to write a letter.
Her catch phrase 'it doesn't matter' - It really means she doesn't know, or she doesn't want to say.
Holding back reactionary power usage - She was taught to use her power in defense, which means throwing whatever unpleasant sensations Victoire receives right back at the person who caused them. Over time this reaction training has turned into using her power whenever she gets surprised. This can especially be awkward for the guys. Just try imagining being kissed by two sets of lips at the same time, or getting your non-existent breasts felt up.
Taking critique on her music or fashion - Positive comment? She'll eat them up. Negative? Well she might not kill you for it, but try not to be too harsh. Suggesting a change? Victoire might just have your head.
The crash - Although she knows its about to happen, that she is going to go get drunk and take home some stranger(s), she almost always fails to stop the cycle
Fears: Having kids - Just not a responsibility she is willing to even consider... And more.
Being abandoned - Although it might not completely click with her 'go-screw-yourself' streak, she is afraid of being alone, more specifically people she loves leaving. Perhaps this stems from HD?
Heights - Hey, when you're only a little over five feet everything seems a bit bigger, and cliffs scarier.
Huntington's - See 'Secrets'
Secrets: She has Huntington's - Maybe. Her mother had it and thus there is a fifty percent chance she has it, but she has been too terrified to have herself tested, although if you were to ask Victoire she would deny that and likely tell you how 'it doesn't matter.'

History
16 -- It was just a normal day at Hammel - however normal that might be, what with the animals talking to humans and flying people sorts of things - when she got the call. Earlier that morning her father had come home just in time to find Alison having knocked over several pill bottles from the medicine cabinet and was aspirating. Doctors had determined this as an attempted suicide, as much as Alison tried to deny such in her own slurred terms. The final decision was to place her in a home where she could receive 24hour care. At the time Victoire had no idea what to think of it all. She was terrified that her mother tried suicide, but was happy that she was in a home now, that she herself wouldn't have to take care of her mother anymore. And a part of her was even disappointed her mother failed to kill herself, as terrible as that may be.
Victoire and her two siblings were brought up in a musical home, both of their parents being music teachers in their hometown of Ottawa, Canada. Most of the instruments were classical and both of her sisters enjoyed that, but the old-style instruments always made Victoire feel suffocated. Although she learned how to play the piano to please her father before she was a teenager, she quickly turned to electric guitar and drums due to peer pressure and a natural rebellious streak.
In her opinion, Victoire was the unluckiest of the three Lavergne sisters, due to her mothers HD. See, Page, the elder by four years, never had to experience Alison when HD had any real hold, and in Cleo's case (seven years younger) Alison was gone before she was eight. Neither of her sisters had to ever take care of their mother while she was twitching, moodswinging and unable to walk, while in Victoire's case her father, Gabriel, would harshly lock her in a room with her mother whenever he was out shopping, or taking Cleo out to school.
14 -- Soccer. She loves the game. One day in her middle school they were playing soccer in PE, mixed gender. There was one boy, Timothy, who liked her, but was still immature about it, which means that to show it he bullied her. Timothy knew that he could never beat her in soccer so when Victoire dodged around him he simply took a hard kick at her shin. She went down, eyes tearing and she glared at him, naming him an asshole and hoping that he would get what he deserved. All of a sudden he fell down, crying out in pain, holding the same shin as Victoire herself was. They were both taken the principal's office. After a long discussion about what happened some officials showed up a few days later, meeting with her to get her to come to a school in the states. Leave her mother? Leave her father? Go to a new, cool, school? Hell yes!
When the notion was proposed to her father he said there was absolutely no way. Probably just wanted her to stay behind to take care of Alison... But after a few days of bargaining Victoire convinced her father to allow her to go with his goodwill, with the catch that she return for every holiday and every summer, for whatever amount of time she could. Although the Hammel recruiters told her she hardly had to listen to her father, she figured it was just easier this way.
Whenever she went home Victoire spent the majority of her time with her friends, escaping from home whenever she could. Sometimes she would still be forced to stay home and spend time with her father or mother or little sis. When she had to spend time with Cleo, it was often awkward, or she would pay her to tell her dad they had a great time together while she went off with friends. Every so often she would have an odd fun experience with Cleo, particularly when she brought her sister away from the house, to somewhere where they both could forget home, although Victoire could hardly guess if Cleo disliked home. Cleo didn't spend much time with crazy mom and was obviously spoiled by Gabriel, as much as he tried to hide it. However, when Victoire was at school, she would feel terrible about abandoning her little sister, alone at home with only her father, it must be boring.
Oh, and Victoire thinks her older sister is a complete prude, one of those Christian, good-girl types.
Roleplay Example
Dan had just finished eating breakfast and was now just heading back to his dorm. The breakfast had been rather boringly bland. Some kind of greasy breakfast sandwich was served up. Not that he really minded, he had eaten worse. Although, for such a meal the price was rather high. Then again, there were no taxes on anything, as someone has yet to put a tax on things in the sky. It would seem rather pointless afterall, and complicated as they moved into various airspaces. Still, Dan could see it happening eventually if politicians ever got their greedy hands on the knowledge of this place. Yet... How could that ever happen? The whole school was invisible to all human senses and technology. Dan did not understand how such a feat was done, but it wasn't his problem nor expertise. And beyond that the teachers would never allow anything like that to happen. At every turn Dan realised that there would, indeed, never be a tax in the school.
He had ate his food quickly and without much incident. The group of guys he sat with this time were all of his own kind, water, but they had been generally older. They let him sit with them but didn't talk to him much at all. Dan didn't even know most of the older girls they were checking out and talking about. He heard a mention of the name 'Evaline' and had briefly wondered if that could be the Evaline he knew, his cousin. He was quick to stop his hopes from soaring too high, the chances just weren't there. Still, it was possible. His mother's side of the family was large after all, perhaps this whole 'powers' thing ran in veins. It would be nice to have someone he knew close by, even if it was one of his less... Socially desirable cousins. Dan would freely admit, he missed the activeness of the Irish side of his family.
Back to the present... He was making his way back to his dorm to pick up some more cash. The expensive first meal had left him in minor need. Dan was thinking of perhaps going down to the city of Paris. Either with some friends to watch sports in some bar or something. It is surprising how easy it is to pass for eighteen. Unfortunately Dan wasn't completely sure twenty-one was the legal age in France. Anyway, if he found some friends they would probably give it a shot with him, for a laugh if it didn't work. If he wasn't able to find anyone there was of course nightclubs or the stripper's joint. At night it was as common as walking for Dan to pass as of age. Twenty-one wasn't even that far of a stretch.
For now Dan was in the halls of the fifth-years. He walked past other dorms and absently wondered who was in them, if anyone at all. Now that he was thinking of it, how populated was his hall anyway? He really should get to know his home-base better. Who knows, maybe he even has a hot chick next door he hadn't met yet.
