Elina smirked. She was not sure of Jade had said that in a thoughtful way, or to rub in that she was blind. Either way, it didn’t really change a lot about her opinion. The fact that Jade remarked on how beautiful it was just made Ellie want to keep it even more to herself. If the other had stated that it was not that pretty, she quite probably wouldn’t have wanted it anymore. She was playing this ‘game’ with constantly changing rules.

“I know, right? Totally going to buy it.” Honestly, despite being this mean, Elina was kind of starting to respect Jade for staying this calm and for not just having taken off with the dress when she had the chance. Perhaps she could try to by nice in a bit… make a new friend who could clearly deal with her random attitude. Then again, maybe Jade couldn’t care about that anymore.

If they were friends though, and if she let Jade buy it… she could borrow it. Mmm. “Unless I can borrow it sometimes.” Not that Elina ever really wore clothes from others though. But yeah, Jade could benefit from it either way.

No fucking way. Jade wanted it. And she would have it. She was about to open her mouth to say something when she heard what Elina said next. She raised an eyebrow. "You realize that in order to borrow it, you'd have to associate with me outside of this store, right?" She wasn't sure how old this girl was but she'd peg her for younger than herself. "But that's not a bad idea." She used to swap clothes with her friends before her power manifested all the time but she'd lost a lot of those friends when she became a meta human and was sent off to Hammel.

“I figure that’s doable and that I’ll survive it.” Elina replied with a little shrug. It would also work out for her because it meant she was going to have money left to purchase something else. So for Jade hadn’t come across as familiar, so that probably meant that the other girl didn’t attend Hammel, but surely she was from somewhere around Vermont. “We have a deal?” Ellie stood in front of Jade’s changing room, knowing she would tackle the other one if she tried to leave without agreeing. If not, the brunette would make sure the dress would be purchased by herself.

"But that means that we have to be willing to see each other every once in a while to trade off the dress," Jade threw out there, which was true. Was this girl as annoyed by Jade as she was by her? Apparently not, if she wanted to swap dresses. What next? Fashion tips?

"Alright," she finally agreed with a sigh, changing back into her clothes before opening the door with the dress over her arm. Hey, she'd sort of won right?

"Well, duh." Was what Elina had shot back. Couldn't really swap clothes if you weren't going to see each other anymore, right? It was why the brunette already tugged a small card from her purse. Jade should feel very special; normally only guys would receive it. Of course this was her putting trust in the other girl to get in contact with her... If not, Elina would definitely attempt to find her by using her ability.

It was also why she let Jade pay for the dress. At least it was a good deal: Ellie would be able to wear one she didn't pay, and she had many left to purchase something else that day. Flawless plan. So, with that, she headed to the counter, not really caring what the other girl did next. Limited contact was her plan, until she needed that purple dress.
