Any Scars? Various small scars from daredevil stunts that went wrong. John has a large “V” shaped scar on his left thigh where a plastic lawn chair impaled him. Jake has a large burn on his right calf from trying to ride a scooter through a ring of fire.
General Appearance: John and Jake are identical twins and have gotten used to being mistaken for each other (they actually enjoy it and tried to promote it in their younger years). The brothers always appear to have an abundance of energy and walk with a spring in there step. Sitting for long periods of time is close to impossible and they tend to get fidgety. They are a bit picky about their appearance and sometimes are late in the mornings after spending a tad too much time in front of the mirror. Although it’s not the end of the world to have a bad hair day now and then, they believe that a good appearance is the key to a good impression on others.
Being two of the youngest in their family, they are used to hand me downs and aren’t as particular about name brands as they are about clothing that fits right and is well cared for. Although the years of dressing the same are behind them, they still have similar styles when it comes to clothing and often color coordinated. They love layers and are big fans of anything plaid or brightly colored. They aren’t big fans of hats, but love other accessories such as sunglasses, wristbands, and scarves.
Personality: John and Jake really enjoy being twins. As young children they often tried to fool friends and family by switching places for a while. Being two of the younger children of their family, they are used to being looked after. This had given them a very low sense of responsibility. They are quick to come up with excuses and actually pretty good at talking their way out of trouble.
These two are always up for some good clean fun and are often the initiators of some random idea to entertain themselves and their friends. They are both extreme daredevils and will do just about anything if someone dares them to.
Rarely seen without a smile on their faces, the twins find it hard to take anything seriously. This can be a bit of a problem when someone needs to be comforted of given advice.
The boys are very insecure when it comes to romantic relationships. John and Jake worry that their twin-ness, and their ability, weird others out. Although they both hope to have a girl friend and perhaps even marry at some point, they aren’t really sure how that would all work out.
John is the more vocal and daring of the two. He's also a bit more confidence with the ladies. While Jake tends to be the more creative one and second guesses himself in lots of things, not just in romance. Although as their power develops they've started to pick up on each other's traits.

Strengths:
Inventive - whether its a way to improve the tree house or just come up with a fun stunt, they're good at thinking outside the box
Wrestling - they are constantly tossing each other around, all in good fun

Math - their best (but not necessarily favorite) subject
Mental blueprints - the twins are very good at figuring out how to build something or how it will work before they actual pick up a tool
Weaknesses:
Being serious - they are pretty much incapable of this
Dancing well - all though they both have great coordination, the rhythm just isn't there
Backing down from dares - if someone dares them to do it, chance are good that they will
Dealing with others problems - it's not that they're narcissistic, they just feel incapable

History
John and Jake are the tenth and eleventh children in a very large family. By the time the twins arrived on the scene, the Bishop family had a pretty good (but nor perfect) grasp at managing the chaos that comes with living in such a large family. From the moment the brothers started to walk and talk, they were inseparable. Never complaining about being dressing in matching clothes, or people confusing which one was which, the twins loved having their mirror image close by at all times.
It was assumed that the twins would manifest as a gestalt pair even at an early age, but still the brothers worried that something would go horribly wrong and everyone would be wrong. This led to a lot of trying to horrible advice from older siblings. Such as telling John to knock himself on the head and see if Jake would get a headache too. Although their mother and father tried to put a stop to it, the twins just made too easy of a target.
Their manifesting was much less dramatic. It came down to a simple blood test that their mother requested while they were at the doctor for a routine check-up. The brothers didn't know what the test was for and were too nervous about the needles to ask.The brothers were a tad upset about being left in the dark until the results came in, but when their fears were finally laid to rest they forgave their mother.
Although the twins have progress quickly in their training at Hammel, some of their classwork has fallen by the wayside. It's a bit hard living up to so many different siblings, but they are trying hard to find their own niche.
