Razor sharp just like a knife (Rya)

Jade pushed open the door's to the building. She'd done a long day of shopping in the downtown and was going to wrap up her day with an intense boxing session before heading home to shower and get on the layout for the new issue of the newspaper at the University.

There were usually quite a few people around and maybe she could find someone to spar with. It was always a nice way to blow off steam on a Sunday before the school week started up again and she was swamped with work.

She shoved her things in a locker and tied her long black hair into a bun. It was weird not seeing Jade incredibly dressed up, as she usually was, but she wasn't about to box in a dress. She had on a pair of black pants and a deep purple tank top and she was definitely ready to go.

There were a few ways that Rya would blow off some steam: Drinking, Arguing, or Boxing. The activity and the ability to punch somebody or something was definitely appreciated, and it helped her keep her sane as well as active. Rya may have been an active swimmer, but she had to have other methods of exercise, especially when she might find there was a lack of water around.

The only difference between herself within the ring and outside in the world, she was much less confrontational. Not because she was scared, no, but she respected almost everyone within the walls of the Muller's. This was really the only place you would see the girl she once was. That is, if you didn't legitimately piss her off. She was bright eyed, energetic, and a bit chatty.

There hadn't really been anyone around to spar with around her size, so she was stuck with the bags. Her eyes scanned the gym for the hundredth time that day, hoping to see a new face, one that could potentially take her to the ring.

Jade walked through the gym, passing many people, looking for a worthy opponent when her eyes landed on a brunette punching the bags. Instantly, Jade found her attractive. She didn't deny it when she found someone attractive. It just happened. However, they could make or break that attraction when they started talking. It was all up to them.

She stopped near her, a smirk on her lips. "Looking for a sparring partner?" she asked. "I think the bags have had enough."

A sharp exhaled breath passed her lips as a female voice touched her ears. It was soft, and rather sweet sounding as it was, but as Rya turned, the face only seemed to make the voice that much more enticing. It wasn't tough to see that Rya did not discriminate on gender. She found both males and females to be quite attractive, both physically and sexually. A tired, yet determined smile graced her features.

"Yeah?" Rya asked, massaging her sore knuckles. "Was it really that obvious that I was in need of a good spar?" She mused, tilting her head off to one side. A few loose strands of hair fell to the side with it. Rya made a mental note to pick it up again. "Are you ready, or do you want to warm up a bit before hand?"

"A little. I heard the bags whimpering," Jade said with a smirk. She'd seen how the girl was punching those bags, as viciously as kids attacked a pinata at a birthday party. She laughed at what the brunette said next. "Oh, honey, you always want to warm up before you're ready." She pressed her lips together in a firm line, trying not to let them twitch into a grin, but she was amused with herself.

"Didn't know if you already did your bidding. I agree. Warm up so I don't have to feel obligated to go a bit easy on you, hm?" Rya wasn't one to hide her amusement in times like these. Mostly because it would either go one or two ways. Either the person would get infuriated by her lack of care and sarcasm, or they, too, would be amused. She didn't have any ill intent towards the other girl. In fact, she enjoyed the beginning of some playful banter. Granted, Rya wouldn't go easy on her when in a match, so she might as well get her playfulness out now.

"You won't have to go easy on me," Jade shot back with a smirk. "Give me all you've got." She didn't like when people went easy on her, in any way, she was used to pressure and difficulty. It came with being in journalism and it was in her future as a reporter.

She began punching a bag nearby, black strands falling out of her messy ponytail. She was so ready for this, for some adrenaline. That and sparring with an attractive girl.

Rya definitely enjoyed the playful smirk that the girl shot back at her. It would put even less pressure on her to know that her partner would be able to potentially be a friend as well. Rya had a sarcastic, bullshit personality, and loved a girl who could shoot some playful banter back and forth. So far, Rya was definitely attracted. "Noted. Can't wait to see how this goes.

Rya was well warmed up for the spar, but sitting there waiting while the brunette finished her own would be hazardous. She decided on stretching instead, since it would keep her body loose while still giving her somewhat of a break from intensity.

Jade grinned over at Rya before continuing warming up. After punching the bag for a while, she switched to stretching, which was always a good idea. She couldn't help but peek at the brunette from the corner of her eye. What? She was attractive, but Jade also wanted to know how much of a fight she could put up.

"Alright," she breathed after about five minutes. "Let's do this." She locked eyes with the girl, smirking.

Rya was a quick girl. Quick to punch, quick to block, and quick to move. It didn't mean she didn't get hit. As much as Rya liked to think she was invincible, she knew that it was far from being true. She did know, however, that she put up a good fight when offered.

"Lets," Rya said simply, enjoying the competitive gleam in her sparring partner's eyes. This was how she enjoyed it. She wanted someone who wanted to win, regardless of who she was sparring. There was no 'I can't hit a girl' in this, mainly because both were most definitely female.

They both entered the ring after putting on the appropriate attire, and Rya bounced on her toes to keep herself light and ready to spring. "Come and get it," She winked.
